No it is a tiny dig at Hull FC. If that sort of thing upsets you, perhaps spending time on a Hull KR forum isn't a good idea. Or the board for six-fingered morons, as you might know it better.
As for the shared stadium - it is a community facility, after all, so while today isn't the day, that isn't much of an argument. Any further comment via pm - cheers.
Now... Well done Hull city.

| Great news for the city and well done all round. I remember city fans thinking allam had gone mad sacking Barmby, seems like a very good decision now. Only city could have a german who misses a pen tho.

I thought Watford were fated to win with 10 when Cardiff equalised.
2 points from the last 12, they stumbled up more than climbed. Still,'up' is the only word that matters. I doubt they'll get too carried away, but it'll be interesting to see who they bring in.

einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result: |

| Firstly what's it got to do with the Hull fans what's on our board were just saying we'll done to Hull city just because you lot don't like the allams that's your problem and if you look on hudds Leeds and Wigan boards they have threads on there respective football teams it doesn't seem to be a problem

I agree with the OP, quite surprised at how well City have done this year. Bit of a wobble at the end but they fully deserve promotion. Will be interesting to see whether they get the financial balance in terms of player acquisition vanity vs business model sanity right. Duffen was there today apparently, that's interesting.'"
Not so sure they deserved to go up actually as they were unable to win any of their last 4 games of which 3 were against bottom 3 teams[with no goals scored] and then on the last day a young debutant keeper who only went to watch the watford match ends up playing and gifts city promotion after producing 2 howlers,i would call it fortunate.

They were the second best team over 46 games. They did rather fall over the line, but they deserved it more than those below them - who couldn't even finish above a team who were unable to win any of their last 4 games etc.

| There is a massive increase in the Sky/BT/Overseas TV money for all Premier League Teams from July 1st. The numbers are just crazy...
Each Premier League Clubs gets a minimum of...
£25m (50% of the Total Sky/BT TV Money split evenly between the 20 Clubs)
£1.5m for finishing 20th + £1.5m per position above 20th, Champions get £30m! (25% of Sky/BT TV Money)
£5m-20m depending on the number of Live TV appearances. (25% of Sky/BT TV Money)
£10m-£15m Overseas TV Rights.
So you get around £40m even if you finish bottom, plus £15m/year for the first 4 seasons after any relegation.
Most of this will of course be swallowed by the crazy wages, and if not for the Allams after City's last relegation the club might now not exist I just hope that City are more sensible with their wages this time even if it means a big struggle due to not being able to attract some of the best players.

| Unbelievable high drama but thoroughly deserved by City's owner, Steve Bruce and his backroom staff, the team, and last but not least the supporters.

Are you just ignoring the fact about the young keeper having to play in circumstances that happen once in a lifetime, him coming on and gifting leeds 2 goals are the reason city fortunately IMO went up.

Only in the same way you're ignoring the rest of the season.
The second goal only cost them a draw, which wasn't enough and I haven't seen the first. City had to play a chunk of their season without their best strikers available, and that penalty for Cardiff - probably correct, but I've definitely seen them not given. To reduce the season's narrative to that one issue isn't fair or realistic, IMO.
The sending off likely cost Watford more than the keeper change - the delay for the injury was potentially helpful to them, remember.

You know absolutely nothing what you are talking about.
Do you think City would have been struggling to get over the line if the best striker (and player) in the Championship in Aluko hadn't have been ruled out for the season since December? Or the fact a proven Championship striker in Fryatt was ruled out for the season very early on? Or Joe Dudgeon hadn't also been ruled out very early on?
To be brutally honest both Rugby League club's could take a leaf out of City's book because with the injuries they've suffered during the season - particularly to their two main goal scorers, they had every reason to give up a long time ago but they chose not to and got the job done in the face of incredible adversity.
Hull City did it the hard way and are a credit to the city and area.
As far as the city's sporting climate goes now, we're approaching a massive shortfall in maintenance costs of the KC so the current status quo cannot continue because it is not viable to have a private company make up the short fall of a public facility; it has to be one of the two following scenariosPublic facility maintained with public money (not going to happen for obvious reasons)
2) Private facility maintained with private money (only a matter of time)
The Allam's gun has been cocked for a long time, but as of the full-time whistle at Watford yesterday, that gun has now been loaded and it's only a matter of time before the trigger is pulled.
No matter what way you dress it up, something [ihas[/i to give...

First issue then, would be to have an independent SMC. Lets give that a go, let the independent SMC run the stadium.
As much as you wish it, FC are not getting thrown out short term. Long term, who knows, but you and I both know Hull City will stay in the premier league for 2 seasons at best. They have as many fickle fans as both RL clubs, and second season in the premier league there will be 20k in the stadium again. i.e. No point ploughing upwards of £60m on something that is not required. It would be rather like you building something based on the fiction of having a core support base in excess of 8000.
