| My team sheet would be:
Eden
George, Hall, Salter, Hodgson
Burns, Dobbo
Paea, J Hodgson, Walker
Cox, Mika
Griffin
Bench: Green, Withers, Lovegrove, Beaumont
To miss out Carlile & Caro.
If Hall is fit I would play him at centre with George outside him. Having watched George play centre last week lets not make that mistake again.
Pity about Paterson because he could have been the gamebreaker. Lets hope Mika can step up to the mark - well, I live in hope.
If Rovers turn up with the right attitude then it should be a comfortable win, but you never know, its the leaky defence that is letting the team (and the supporters) down.

| The Castleford squad doesn't look too bad on paper - certainly better than the 8 wins they've managed on grass in the last season and a half.

| I'm going to Cas today but I've got a bad feeling about it to be honest.
Playing on an 88m long pitch means there'll be more goal line attacking and defending than usual and with Paterson injured I think both our defensive slide on the edge will be tested and it will be a lot harder to execute offensive plays if the second-rowers don't run the right lines as dummy runners.
I'd be inclined to play Josh Hodgson on the right second row to counter act Rangi Chase and play Cox on the left. Then start Carlile at hooker from the off and bring Withers on off the bench.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| I can see the logic in that, I can feel a cackamallabab performance coming on.
Line speed is going to be very, very important. Not that I think we'll actually execute that, I fear an afternoon of standing whilst Chase pirouettes his way from one side of the paddock t' t'other.
Jamie Fecking Sandy.

| In a nutshell, the short the pitch, the more the game is played on the edges and with both our first choice centres and second rowers out, I really worry our edges won't have enough familiarity and cohesion to keep Cas from scoring points and to enable us to score enough points.
This lack of cohesion compounded by a lack of experience means I think we'll get beat but no doubt we'll have the usual suspects blaming the coach afterwards.

| The bookies can't split the teams and this one really could go either way.
Cas at home have done a little bit better than Rovers away so there's no way this is going to be easy.
The next 2 league games are massive for Rovers with Cas away and Wakefield at home. Both eminently winnable and yet last season we got nothing from those 2 fixtures.
If the same thing happens again then it's hard to see Rovers doing much better than last season's 10th. On the other hand the table is looking pretty bunched from 5th downwards and 2 wins would put Rovers in a decent position.
I expect Cas to have targeted this game and they will play at a high pace and intensity. Last season we lost with virtually the last play of the game after Salter was penalised for a voluntary tackle. It may well go to the wire again hopefully with a different outcome.
