if he got his foot to it before or as it hit the ground, I think it would be relevant. If it hits the floor first, then obviously I agree with you.

I [ithink[/i that for it to count as a drop kick you have to have control of the ball with your hands at some point, however briefly. Seem to remember looking it up a few seasons ago after a similar incident. I could be remembering wrong though.

| If he's got his boot to the ball before it's hit the ground it's play on. If it hits the ground first it's a knock on. Intent doesn't come into it.
