Eden is 3rd choice full back for giants next season behind grix/murphy so can see it being true, eden could of found himself playing at batley all season!

anderson doesnt seem to be a fan, when he took over last season he dropped him.

not all fans were happy with eden anyway last season...error prone and positional sense poor!

but has great potential.

you must of offered us some good cash though too

He must have had some say in giving him a contract to the end of 2015 - new coach, but it was a planned succession.
Circumstances and opinions change, of course. Good signing for us (hopefully icon_smile.gif ), you have other options so it all makes sense. icon_razz.gifRAY: icon_thumb.gif icon_biggrin.gif

Hope you've got space at HKR for Eden's ego...the lad is a world beater in his head and an egg beater on the park.

Forget the sour grapes and negativity, if this is true (and I and many others hope it isn't) then you will have a fantastic English talent on his way.

He is nowhere near 3rd best fullback at Giants and to have him behind Grix a man who couldn't catch or tackle last season is laughable.

Eden makes errors, drops the odd high ball, so does Tomkins and Billy Slater!!! Hardaker at Leeds was another who looked lost and next minute he is a very good fullback who has represented his country, Eden has the potential to be a lot better.

I could also see him develop into a Danny McGuire type stand off (without the sulking hopefully) he has pace to burn and can spot a gap, to sum up if its true the Giants have yet again shot themselves in the foot and you will have another good player with potential to become great.

Ot but Walker is gonna make a good one too and could emulate what Chris Hill as done.

Ah, yes. Forgot about Robinson, I was thinking that Grix might play there again. I can see the reasoning, with those four and Cudgoe also able to play fullback if required then I can see how his lack of versatility might make Eden surplus to requirements.

Not sure he will reach those hights but totally agree we should not be letting him go and he has shown enough in his fairly few SL apperances that he is the sort of guy you want to be looking to sign rather than sell and unless there is another signing coming in to replace him do not see it as good business at all.

Perhaps there is an attitude or personality issue with Anderson but on the face of it a good move for KR and a bad one for Giants I would say.

Two good signings in a row now, and 4 good signings out of 6 in my opinion. I'd much rather have Eden than McDonnell. Both clubs should do better than last season.

If Eden can reduce his number of mistakes in a game he has the potential to be a very close 2nd to Tomkins in England full backs. Rumour has it his attitude needs bringing down a peg or two which gets other players backs up but if there's someone at the club to keep him in line he'll do fine. Walker played in the early part of the season and did ok but he really needs to work on his leg speed if he's going to be a SL regular. Hope both guys do well for you except against us. icon_wink.gif

If that's true, you'll struggle. Massively.

Why do you think he's the third choice fullback?

I'll give you a little tip.

Constantly rubbishing everything about Rovers with absolutely no attempt at objectivity leads to everyone instantly dismissing all of your opinions.

In essence, what you're doing is a complete waste of time, but if that's how you get your kicks you crack on.
