| With Galea going we have no natural skipper in the squad. We should do what FC did with Lynch, bring someone in to be the skipper.

Gingerspice, your very naughty! Wait till AS reads your comment lol!
I was talking to a trusted source who (whilst not committing himself) alluded to a ruling by the RFL on this matter. We won't know if the RFL will ratify the NRLs punishment until Travis is officially registered as a SL player (the usual vias clearance etc).

We're coming to make some noise!: |
|
| Rhys talks a hell of a lot out on the pitch especially in defence. Galea was particularly complimentary to Rhys after his first game out injured when it was noticed by the current captain how quiet it was on the field.
As for him being captain, not sure he'd want it, maybe vice captain would be a natural progression with a view to being the captain.
For me though Ryan O'Hara could be the captain no problems. He's played consistantly well from his first game, never gives less than his all and seems to have a sense of humour! Would probably be a firm fans favourite as captain too, loves to be involved with the fans and has taken to the singing...etc almost as much as Withers!!!!!
Maybe Sandercock knows one of his signings will make a great captain though so I'll trust him to make the correct call!

Obvious choice for me. I've never seen the point in having a forward who's being rotated being the captain.

| My thoughts are Dobbo has enough on his plate as it is , so maybe take some goalkicking duties off him,say from the left wing get either Hally or Corey Paterson on the case.

I've been informed that Travis Burns ban will stand, so he misses the opening 5 fixtures. Shades of last season (ie Blake) but at least Craig Hall will be a more than able 6.

Couldn't have argued if he had, but Whelams been at the club longer, was invovled in the international set up before Josh, and will injuries permitting be on the pitch all game, that's before you take into account his personality might be better suited to the role.
My only concern with giving the captiancy to Dobbo is, are we giving him too much to do, leading the team, kicking goals and heavily involved as a scrum half, hopefully he'll cope with it, and clearly seems to be popular with his team mates.

| I don't understand all this, "he has enough on already" view. He already makes most of the decisions anyway, he's not afraid to have a word with the ref, he's very vocal with the rest of the players. Seems perfect captain material to me.
