Tbh he maybe realises this now and I agree he had to go he is a very good rugby player and with his style of rugby prob could get into any team, but ce la vie and all that we have our own cracking players coming thru now |

I coached for a long time and we won 95% of games because winning is a mental state driven by a desire to CRUSH an opposition. Did FC look as though they wanted to Crush Wigan and strangle them until they screamed ? NO

Charlie is a friend of many Rovers fans with links beyond Rugby, regardless of who Ben plays for or what he's done, he's still a close friend to many fans who he built up a relationship with.
It's a bit like Hull fans contacting Raynor for printer ink.

Not fixated with, but I am still in touch with him, yes.
I'm guessing though that you would probably condone death threats to a player for simply signing for a club you hate.
I would suggest your obsession with our club is perhaps a bigger problem for you. |

In honesty they didn't though did they. We chanted Charlie when he ran out, there was some joke booing when he scored and from what I understand they chanted his name at the end, I can't claim to be a part of that. Its one of the things I like about being a Rovers fan, we can retain the respect for ex-players, I was just a bit disappointed that andy ellis and andy raleigh didn't get bigger cheers, but perhaps many of the newer fans in the east stand don't remember them, as Mariano was greeted well too. |

it was a bit more than the beginning and the end i was embarassed im all for giving returning players a welcome return but the cockayne thing has gone to far in my opinion |
