Maybe. The board meetings of the City of Hull Academy, whose directors are currently Pearson and Hudgell, though, could be awkward.

In answer to Gwillyms question of "Does the passion and burning desire to win still run through you", he took about 6 seconds to reply, and then answered with "That's one for another day".

looking through the program last home game, we have lost 6-8 games with there being a score in it, could have gone either way, win those games and catapult up the table as we did in 2009.
i also think we are missing the class and dog fight mentality of clint newton, as well as being weak in pos 1-5.

Absolutely,I loved that guy (not in the biblical sense!) even though he was a thorn in our side.

| Didn't sound like he'd walk away to me, just that he and the others won't be stumping up any more money, they'll budget for 7,000. This is probably the last year Rovers will be spending full cap as Hudge hasn't used his own money for two years, and Allams soft loan has ran out.

| Said it before and will say it again, a coaching duo and Noble and Gene is the answer to our problems.

| You've said it before, you were wrong then and are still wrong now.
Noble is a dinosaur, he's not the answer.
Sandercock will see us right.

He might be red and White thru and thru but how much do u put into a club before you say enough is enough, we haven't had luck with injuries this season and the youngsters shud be proud of themselves, sherriff is improving week on week and griffin is a real find as is salter.

The thing that doesn't quite make sense is this. All indications seem to be Rovers have run out of cash. Surely to attract new investment the club needs to be presented in a positive light. The continuing stream of doom and gloom PR surely makes this less likely. So why do it? Unless he wants to conveniently plead poverty in North Stand repayment negotiations with the council, makes little sense.
If I were on the council, who, let's be frank, have bent over backwards to fashion an £8m project to support Rovers demands for a new stand, I'd be pretty annoyed that the guy saying he'd withdraw from Rovers unless they sorted the funding is now talking ongoing gates of 7k and casting doubt on his and the club's ambition.

What indications say Rovers have run out of money???
The only thing of note is Hudgell saying the Directors are not prepared to run the club at a loss. The rest is all hear say by yourself and a few other Hull fans who are more interested in Rovers finances then your own team. The Directors maybe quite prepared to underwrite current losses till we get our feet on the ground which is a little different to what you are suggesting

Yep hudgell says the club are not prepared to continue to pay ridiculous wages for players that haven't delivered and I think that's really sensible if the gates improved then so will the quality of players, we won't next season have a team full of superstars we need to continue to improve our youngsters, I back hudge 110 per cent on his comments and what the club are planning afterall we dont want to be another bulls.

Think his comments RE: "Any team that can't pay the debts they accrue shouldn't be in SL and should have there SL license removed" Says that the financial stability of Hull KR is not in jeopardy.

he's bang on with his comments, why should he and the rest of the board plough their hard earned cash in when the rfl are intent on keeping a dead bradford side going, bank rolling london for the good of the game and flogging a dead horse to death with crusaders.

| Most of what Hudge said was spot on, he's right about the RFL never sticking to their own rules, thus incentivising clubs to run up losses, go bust and start again with a clean slate. He's also right that Sandercock hasn't got his own team in place yet, however this is a conveinient excuse. The pressure will be on him next season when the coach no longer has that card to play. Hudge also said we had (in effect) been operating on a 1.2M cap this year with 4 of out top 5 earners spending long spells on the sidelines (I assume he's talking about Galea, Clinton, Webster and Green). He's pee-ed off with agents (I assume Howes), and the effect this had on de-stabliising the dressing room (Watts's influence one suspects).
He's pee-ed off, cos he's a lifelong fan, and one who pays a couple of hundtred grand a year for the privilege of seeing us blow yet another game. I don't care what other folks opinions of him are, I happen to think he's been amazing for my club since 2005. Don't walk away Neil.
