| Drop him for the rest of the season. Give his shirt to James Green.
Lets see how his England ambitions pan out while he's playing U-20's rugby.
Howes can go shag himself

| A slight over reaction, just make sure you boo him and make him feel unwanted.

If they adopt my plan, I won't get the chance (I don't watch the U-20's).

I'd never boo a player but if he doesn't want to stay he can go

Kr dont have to sell him fc but Taylor doesnt have to sign for anyone he doesnt want to . Id say its Taylors choice in the end if kr are to recieve a transfer fee . Wouldnt be suprised if he went to oz .

| Told you months ago he'd rejected a new deal, also that Hudge will look to sell this year to avoid him signing for FC for free at the end of next year.
He doesn't have to sign for anybody, if he doesn't want. But, if he really wants to join FC he will, one way or another.

| I'm not just saying this over this lastest issue.
Agents can be a blight on the landscape.
This is a point in case.
How does Scott Taylor know Leeds, Hudds and Hull are keen?
Because his agent has been touting him around? otherwise how else do you explain it.
Having a few agents with so much sway in the game really isn't good for anyone as it just means players are distracted with talk of their next move even though they have 14 months left on their current deal.
Also has anyone looked on just how many players these agents have on their books?
As a RL club you can have the best coaching staff in the world but if an agent decides for personal reasons that his client base isnt going to play for you then there is suddenly a huge player pool that you will no longer get a sniff over.
IMHO there should be a limit of just how many clients an agent should be allowed to have.

| Disappointing.
Saw him make a very competant debut against Leeds a few years ago and have liked him a lot since.
What can you do? If he wants to go, he'll go, I would have hoped he'd have shown a bit more loyalty to the club whose funded his development but it's a short career and you can't fault the lad for wanting to maximise his earnings, chances of trophies and representative opportunities.

| An agent with less clients would find the losses in his income elsewhere. That'd be damaging.

| As Sheldon says, it is a dog eat dog business. From the club's POV it is better to sort than have it bleed on as a distraction. Tbf to Taylor, irrespective of any malign influence from his agent, waiting would probably strengthen his position.
You have to deal with the world as it is to a large extent - journalists (another recent target) and agents, they are what they are and they act according to their own agendas.
And unless Taylor is much dumber than he seems, it won't be as if Howes can manipulate him into doing something he really doesn't want.
Offer him a deal, if he doesn't want to negotiate, offer him a transfer, if he says no and wants to see out his deal, at least we get another year's return on our investment and a lot can change in 6 or 8 months. It'd be a bit of a odd situation for player and club, especially if he's determined to turn Sith, but that is the reality of it.

I do agree with you the whole transfers/agent situation is a joke
The anti tampering rule is a waste of paper if the rfl dont enforce it.
I'm not sure how limiting the players an agent can have will make any difference though because the agenst will just pool their players together again.
I'm not sure what the answer is though
