I wonder what the banning criteria are from the HDM comments section? Some weird stuff on there. Slammer could be our man with the inside track, but the server seems to be down.

There is no liability... The council have taken on ALL risk... If Rovers don't pay, the taxpayer does!!

It says on the unofficial board that the rumour is "all over the city". Just thought it was worth asking whether anyone had heard it.

| Of course. Please can you give me a breakdown of liabilities between Rovers and the other partners sharing the facility. Keep it brief, just bullet points.

Of course.
Cost was originally estimated at a total of £6.5million with anticipated split of £4.2million from Hull City Council via prudential borrowing and £2.3million from European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Of the total cost of £6.5m, the stand, ineligible for ERDF funding, quoted as £1,857,360. Rovers to pay this back to the council, with the other occupants, i think these were Hull Training and another Enterprise support entity, paying the balance. This was on the basis of the original submission though. We then learnt that the costs had increased to £8m I think. The Council underwrote the whole lot in case of default by any of the parties involved.

| That doesn't answer my question. Who are the partners, and what is the breakdown of the mortgage between all involved? Is £2M Rovers share?. What are the repayment terms?

It pretty much does. The council have taken out the loan. Three parties will pay them back; Rovers, who will pay be cost of the stand, quoted as £1.9m, plus interest. Hull Training and an undetermined enterprise support entity will repay the balance. The specific terms have not been published as far as I'm aware but typically are over 30 years at a rate of interest around 3%.

Hull Training are a Council run organisation that's pretty much non-income making. They train underprivileged kids for work. Some of the training facilities cater for the public and a small amount of income is generated from these outlets. Essentially, Hull City Council will be paying Hull Training's share of the loan.
So that's Hull City Council, Rovers, Hull City Council and the other Enterprise support facility paying back the £2M-ish. Anyone know what the latter is, or is it really Hull City Council again?
