I think something went on near the Anlaby Rd/Walton St junction about an hour after the game. I was in Griffin and there was definately some commotion going on. I could see the people stood outside Albert watching it.

Yes getting stick is one thing but assault/battery (intentional Physical contact with a person without there consent) which technically (although loosly) it was.

Dont care which pub he went in that shouldnt matter. To defend a bloke that pushed past him with a reasoning of "hes rovers chairman and has said bad things in the past" or "he doesnt live round here" is pathetic and shows whats wrong with this city.

I was in tigers lair before and after the game with banter and songs going between both sets of fans, if someone had pushed past me intentionally id have more then afew choice words with the moron. But i suppose its my own fault for been in a pub i shudnt be in because im from easthull?

However this is different as they have not continually publicly slated a whole group of Hull FC fans, whether you like it or not he is an arrogant little man, and it was a foolish thing to do, hence like I said I doubt the thought would even cross out chairmans mind to go into a local boozer in East Hull after a derby game!
