Nethers has been given the 16 shirt so that improves probability somewhat.
By all accounts he too has got his mojo back. . . mind you I didn't know he had any. . . but he is training the house down! Go on Nethers, prove us all wrong!

Sounds good, bet his team mates appreciate it.

| I'm growing to the idea of Clinton skippering the side. He has obviously impressed Sandercock enough with his attitude in training to be given the number 8 shirt infront of some other strong candidates.
Now that James Graham has headed abroad i think that a fully firing Clinton is, along with Mark O'Meley, the best prop in the competition. Giving him the captaincy may be the boost he needs to recapture his best form.
It could be seen as a gamble but i think it is a calculated one and there is plenty of experience in the side to assist him.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

As things stand, he's not even the best prop in our team. And he wears rubbish shirts, nearly dried my hands in the toilet the other weekend on one it looked that much like a towel.

Have we every seen a fully firing Joel Clinton in a Rovers shirt? We should start calling him Samson...he was twice the player when he had crazy hair
Benny Galea all the way for me. Then I'd give it to Scott Taylor next year.

| I do not understand why know-one has suggested Dobbo. I thought it would be your obvious choice, good player and professional both on and off the pitch.

It works for me. People seem to think he has enough to do already organising things, but doesn't that kind of fit into the captains role anyway? He's on for 80 mins, he's involved in most of the play, he doesn't mind talking to the ref & I assume has the respect of the rest of the players. Seems like a logical choice to me.

Dobson for me, I like a half back to be calling the shots and he'll be out on the paddock for as much time as he's fit, Galea will play nowhere near the minutes he did last season.'"

Ahem.
Although you are a pair of dopes, incapable of reading a three page thread, you'll come round to my way of thinking eventually.
Hidden within the idiocy is a kind of genius.
What? The earth isn't the centre of the universe they all said to Nicolaus Copernicus.
