I do agree in a sense tony, but after watching "united" it kind of brought it up that Local players wear the shirt with pride - 95% of our players dont - its as simple as that.

Each to there own my old chappo.
I think the away shirt is decent, home shirt is average. But yet i bought the home shirt as its a miles better material for summer. Was going to be my only season without 1 but i need it for hols.

It's got to be local players being blooded and founded that is is the catalyst to sustained success.
I'd say looking at St Helens team against Bradford in 96' Challenge Cup Final which I watched the other day on ESPN, in which youngsters by the names of Bobbie Goulding, Cunningham, and a certain Steve Prescott were blooded as a template in how they're still at the top even today. Add Martyn, Long, Sculthorpe in, they didn't rely on overseas players for the spine of their team.
Although Watts hasn't hit the heights of last season, he is still a find, and Welham has been playing brilliantly as of late, this is the way to go.
Looking forward to Beaumont's debut, playing youngsters in this tricky period will hopefully be the light and turn this awful start into something positive.

| Looked as though he tired quickly which is to be expected.
Sheriff looked like a seasoned player.
