| I heard about Mr Alibert's exploits, obviously didn't use the off season trying to learn how to ref. Yes, as you say it's all about blowing off the cobwebs, risky game though as I remember when we played Hudds a few years ago and it roughed us up a lot and we gained quite a few injuries (as always :p ). Must have been nice to see some Rugby though, can't wait for the season!

| Yeah was great to see some rugby although it was a tough game to start with and they have prob got a few bruises hopefully we won't be to sore. Webbo's defence was fab at times and I think Hall will do okay and as ever Ben cockayne was everywhere.

I've only seen Scott Taylor a few times but he looks a fantastic prospect, i hope he gets a chance if his form is better than some of the bigger names.

| Thanks to the fans that came down and for you to applaud Eorl Was great to see. Great run out for the players, both teams looked a little rusty (especially the passing). Good luck in the oncoming season and will see ya then.

At fault for their first two tries and his continual lack of discipline and his high mistake rate has to be a worry.

Didn't go to the game and dipped in and out of the radio, but he sounded to be having a bit of a nightmare in the first half.

| Was anyone else disappointed that Big Eorl didnt come accross to the rovers fans at the end? Chanting his name at the end and yet he still didnt come over. 30 seconds hard work that must take.

| Congratulations to your fans who came over and gave Eorl standing applause at both the beginning and end of the match. It's what makes our game the greatest.

Yes thought the same at first, then I noticed him shaking hand with the Hudds fans in the stand, so quite understandable really.

Big Eorl is a popular player, I would love him at Rovers, he plays it hard and deserves his applause.

He didn't come all the way over to us but Earl and the Huddersfield players came across to the 40 and applauded the Rovers fans. The chant of Crabtree give us a wave prompted it. Maybe missed it as alot of Rovers fans where leaving by this point.

WRONG.
He wasnt with the rest of the Hudds players when they came to the 40. He was already signing autographs at that point, only a little anoyying as he quite easily could of come over and thanked us then signed some autographs.
P.S. = the programme was a classic

He often gets caught out in defence when he's playing on the wing and with Webster having not plyed for a while it was a risk. As soon as he switch to FB he did OK in defence. He gave his usual silly penalty away for arguing with the ref; but that's alway's going to happen.

You do realise Webster was at right centre and Cockayne on the left wing??
