“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club." Adam Pearson, FC Website 23-09-2011: |

| Hopefully the RFL will take all this into account when awarding license's
Who was the first team to ask for dispensation when the new rules came in?
Which team has consistantly pushed the boundry's to get even more in?
Surely the RFL who tried to bring in this hard to enforce rule must be pretty annoyed by one club inparticular

They will be more annoyed with clubs who play un-registered players and use invisible ink to sign players.

Scum Baggory is a nice word, I will be using it again,
Scum-baggory however would be more suited to invading a pitch or say going to hudds and ripping the posts down.
Rovers are using the massive loop hole in the RFL Rules to give us an advantage, if the RFL are annoyed with it all they would have to do is shut the loop holes down.

I'm sure one of the first things on the agenda for the RFL is "OK gentlemen, can we move swiftly on to what Willa hopes?"

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| We should all be shot, with spud guns until very deaded.
It's all Clint Newtin's fault, he promised he'd sort this out.

| Rovers have had some good fortune in this respect and I'm happy enough for them to exploit it to just shy of the point it becomes politically unwise.
I'll judge whether they've done that when the transfer merryground comes to a halt.
Hull fans will mock if we sign British fed-trained players like Hall and Radford and be outraged if we sign fed-qualified overseas players. Just a choice between different types of tiresome to ignore.

| I don't agree with rules but if the loophole exists you can't blame any club for explioting it.

The rules are flawed because it is illegal to stop people entitled to work in this country from working in this country.
The clubs agreed to this rule and should do as much as possible to stick to it.
This said I do actually have no problem with galea becoming non-fed as this was in line with the first concession.
I would certainly have a problem if mason was to become exempt (as stated in the article).
This law will only work if the clubs don't try and use the loop holes that cannot be closed. The good of our game needs this rule to be enforced by the clubs.

Would you have a problem with that if he became exempt but signed for Hull FC ?

So basically your looking for a voluntary code that operates contrary to the Employment Laws.
Dream on.
