Its based on them finding some decent form at the right time of the year. Don't think Rovers are playing as well as many think and they look very vulnerable particularly on the edges and are still heavily reliant on tries from kicks.

Agree, that's two games now where Rovers have been pretty poor and still managed a win. TBF they were pretty lucky yesterday and Cas should have had the game in the bag with a bit more composure. Rangi Chase targeted Dobson and Colbon on countless occasions in the 2nd half and broke through almost every time and I'm amazed that no-one spotted it and pulled more defenders across.

And if we can upset Wigan at Craven Park whilst getting a result at Celtic and Salford we'd host Hull at home in the playoffs wouldn't we?'"
I think you should take a look at the table. If Hudds get 2 more points than Hull until the end of the season, they will still be behind Hull.
FWIW, I think Hull will beat Crusaders, lose at Wire and beat Leeds to remain 4th.

| I also think Hull will cling on to 4th. I'm not too confident of Huddersfield slipping up for us to overtake them either.
7th it is, I think and to be honest I'm reasonably happy with that given how poor everyone believed our recruitment to be.

| It could come down to the mad minute atthe Galpharm that costs us home advantage. Shame and it looks like we'll get a chance to have another go...

I think we should have been up by more at half time, we really should have won the game by then. Fair play to Cas, they turned it on in the second half and broke through with ease, a bit more composure and they would have won.
Our left hand side defence found it hard to cope, we have a young winger in Latus, a winger playing centre in Colbon and Cas created plenty of overlaps. It seemed a lack of communication at times and with our lack of centres I can see teams looking at exploiting us again in this area.

| If Rovers win all three games it's highly unlikely that that won't be good enough to move us up at least one place

| Rovers shouldn't win another game this season should we Mrs B??
I mean you are clearly much better than us as the two derbys have stated and we have 3 games left all of which Hull FC have taken a grand total of zero points from this season.
7th it is for us then if not 8th

Contorted logic there, Phillip, but refreshing that you've stopped bleating about penalties as the reason FC won at the KC as opposed to Newton repeatedly dropping the ball and Fox being shown up by our immobile sloth. I don't think FC will win another game in the regular season. As stated we need to outscore the free-scoring Crusaders and have no half backs available. Leeds have taken us to the cleaners twice and Wire are in a battle for 2nd. So as stated multiple times, Rovers should finish ahead of us.

How will Rovers finish ahead of you when we have already concluded it is impossible for them to win another game

God you're good. Mick Vella agrees: "I don't think Wigan will go on and win the Grand Final. I think we will." Wigan have lost 4 of their last 6 at home and have a shorter turnaround than you as well plus you have Webster back. Bit of a formality for the Robins it seems.

| Tiresome isn't it. Anyway, Friday. Either two play-off wins for us (progress Willa?) or at worst knocked out by the minor premiers. No worries.

You accused me of that this weekend predicting an easy win for Rovers, and obviously I was right. Which bit of what I've posted is inaccurate? Wigan are gone mentally, as GML predicted they've imploded at the business end of the season. They've got a day less to recover after a gruelling battle vs the champions. You have another international in to bolster the ranks this week. Formality may be stretching it a bit, but Wigan is an easier gig than Warrington (who have a longer turnaround) in terms of form for sure, so it couldn't have worked out any better for Rovers.
