| In my opinion Netherton is a very hard working and committed player, and an unsung hero. Unfortunately Mills does not have half the desire or heart shown by by Nev.

| Quote: Captain Dave "He was steady , but unspectacular in his first season - being selected for most games. He was solid in defence , and in attack although he didn't break the line much he still attracted the defence in numbers.
His second season saw him just make a hand full of appearances.
Reserve Grade - isn't the most intense level , but by all accounts he didn't appear to put a great deal of effort in.'"
didnt break the line much??? the guy would struggle to break wind......hes rubbish, a big softie, if he had a bit of heart hed be ok, maybe he needs a trip down the yellow brick road to see the wizard that is Pau Cullen at Widnes...

| mills has been a very poor signing in my opinion, one of which has him rotting in the reseves on a healthy chunk of salary cap no doubt......ive seen mills in many occasions playing for the reserves and he doesnt stand out one bit compared to other first teamers who have played reserve footy for one reason or another....
as soon as rovers get rid, the better for both parties

I think Sheldon was being sarcastic. No idea if your figure is correct, but to put it into context, if a club is spending up to the cap on its top 25 players, each of those will on average be earning about £60k. Bearing in mind that your career is over in your mid-30s and doesn't provide you with too many transferable skills, that isn't that much.

| Problem we had is that Mills signed on a 1 year contract. In that year he looked the part hence why Rovers gave him an extended 2 year deal. After signing that contract 2/3rd through that year he then put his feet up. The sooner he is off the books the better a complete waste of money. If he is on the rumoured 45k then thats shocking. A fully fit RL player paid 90k over 2 years and playing once is bad buisness.

I doubt he is on that much,he was touted round the super league and nobody wanted him,not even celtic,so he took less money than he was on in his first year he was at rovers.
