I agree, considering he is an accident lawyer he will be more than aware of the deaths such behaviour has caused, it is disgraceful behaviour.
And he calls us cabbages

| Stupid and irresponsible thing to do, whoever you are.
Has anybody been a passenger when a friend answers a hand-held phone when driving? I always feel torn between pointing out that they really shouldn't be doing it and not wanting to be a 'bad guest'. Some people, including friends of mine, seem to view it as no big deal and I don't want to come across as prissy or fall out with them. Nor, on the other hand do I want to have to help scrape a pedestrian off the bonnet. Same with speeding. I just tend to make excuses to avoid been in the same car, which, now I think about it, is a bit of moral cowardice - it doesn't reduce the chance of an accident, just my chance of being there.
Which is better, IYO?
a. Laid back, polite moral passivity
or
b. Socially responsible interfering busybody

| Extremely irresponsible. Texting whilst driving is more dangerous then taking or making a call whilst driving.

Option C, aggressively take the phone off them and lob it outof the window. (be careful not to hit anyone and kill them with the object or you could be getting done)

Guess looking down at a phone means your eyes are off the road more but theyre both as bad as each other for me.

| I'm proud to boast I've had my license for 8 years and no points to this date! (ironically I bet I get caught speeding this weekend!)
I drive literally all corners of Hull for my job and it's surprising how many drivers still put their handsets to their ears whilst driving, he deserves what he gets imo, don't care who you are the law is the law.

I don't think you're interfering by telling friends to stop doing something which is both idiotic and unnecessary, no text can be that important that you have to do it whilst driving.
I would however get a bit riled if people continually told me to slow down when doing 45 in a 40 for instance.
And yes, good spelling BB.
