Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?: |

| The problem is, too often, the person in the picture isnt doing anything of interest. You take about 600 photos in two hours, so must just click away. You need a large aperture, 4.5 or 5.6, and fast shutter, or set camera to sports mode, if you have it. Professional photographers only get a few pictures worth using from a full match, so be more selective

You'd recommend shooting on aperture priority then, yes? Interesting that.
Oh yes, my dinky little camera does have sports mode, but I found I moved on from that to one of the semi-auto settings a couple of years ago but I'm still very much experimenting in sport as I do in most elements of photography. I take around 3 - 400 photos per match, depending on the action. I think I manage to capture some reasonable action shots but I certainly don't click non-stop, I just follow the action as I would if I was just watching the game, but I'm not a professional, never professed to be, just a happy amateur - just think your comments were a little uncalled for, after all if you've seen them before why bother looking if you think they are poo? The club didn't seem to think so when they had them made into posters for the shop, and used them regularly in the programme.

Thank you! Glad you had a good day, it makes a refreshing change not to have whinging away supporters, can't see, got wet, horrible fans, etc, etc. Nice to hear that you were made welcome - and a suntan to boot!!
