| Brough only played 9 as itw as his only way of getting a game in SL, as most sides have bench hookers not halfs!
Danny is a 7 and an good one at that, he'd hardly move to become a back up hooker, when teams like Saints have been sniffing around him as a satrting 7!

James Roby is a back up hooker and he doesn't seem to mind. I remember brough playing at hooker for Cas and he was very good in that position.

| If he's not going to play in the halfs, I wouldn't want him signing. Cooke to 13, Murrell to 9 makes more sense. More sensible again would be to sign Brough as a replacement for Cooke - or not sign him at all.

Agree but Brough is a 9 and a starting one, so it would be a backward step, and one he doesn't have to make, Roby knows he is an impact player at current and always knew he'd be a starter once KC retires end of season!

Agree with you though, too similar players in same side doesn't work!
Look at Brough & Rooney at Wakefield as prime example!'"
Bad example -- Rooney and Brough are worlds apart in their styles of play.
Last season the problems with Brough and his game revolved around who was taking charge, Brough or Drew,Brough appeared to play better when Drew wasnt on the pitch.
This season Rooney hasnt hardly had a look in ,due to injury and form, resulting in him being loaned out.

| I cant believe Danny Brough is signing for Hull KR and that Mark O Meley turned Hull KR down
Whatever next, Rooney to Hull, Tickle to Warrington, Azuie to Hull and Heroin on sale in Cheeky Monkeys?

| The two clubs my negotiatate a swap between Brough and Cooke.
Most times I see Brough play he has a great game, but not sure what to make of his alleged disruptive influence that keeps being talked about on here, but can't be any worse than Cooke's alleged shennanigans.

Maybe Cooke will leave, say for Bratfurd therefore creating a gap in the salary and team for a player, such as Brough, and everyone will live happy ever after

| I just cant see Brough and Dobson working, both play the same position and role if you didnt have Dobson then he would be a good signing.
I also couldnt see Brough coming to Rovers to play hooker, he is a SH and has aspirations of playing there for England in the future.

Both players main assets are kicking game, goal kicking and throwing long passes out!
You need one jinky half and one long ball /kick player!

| Absolute nobend of a player, and if the team isn't coming off the rails now, it would do with this signing.
A step backwards IMHO, I'm praying it's speculated bollux. Hardly sending out a message there...
My most hated player in SL, total to55pot.

Not half, he's probably a nice guy off the field. On the pitch though, he's an overated, egotistical dweeb.
There's no 'I in team Danny'.
