| Quote: RoversTrace "Also, which season pass price are they freezing, the discounted one or the normal price. Don't know what prices the season passes will be for next season, but if this is such a great incentive, I can't see them offering a discount on season passes aswell. Bad news for those of us not joining 'the club''"
The confusing thing is you don't know what the benefits are "worth". Let's say 2010 passes are only £5 more than the frozen price. Wouldn't you then be paying £60 out now to save:
£5 on your pass in September
£10 max on your shirts in December
£10 on a derby ticket next July
or have I missed something? How can you judge the value of the £60 unless you know what you're going to save compared to not joining?

HOW on earth do you get NILLED at Wembley ?
When your coach isn't a winner at heart and Gentle is not a winner at heart .
We were a pub team
I coached for a long time and we won 95% of games because winning is a mental state driven by a desire to CRUSH an opposition. Did FC look as though they wanted to Crush Wigan and strangle them until they screamed ? NO
RL is a tough tough game and Maylord She-dong you have no clue

| whats the point in the membership then?? seems like rovers board are trying to get extra cash in the bank because they cannot attract large gates, £60 for afew gimmicks is abit steep in my opinon, if you was to become a member you should get a free shirt for starters not just a poxy £5 off at the "superstore"...

Hudgell isn't stupid. He wouldn't offer the membership unless he is going to be making money from it.

Or maybe he just wants the money up front, to pay for the East stand extension?

| Taking to someone on Sunday, who says East Stand passes up to £215! -£36 increase alledgedly.

There you go then, in that case you spend £60 now and save:
£36 in September on passes
£10 in December on shirts, if you can afford the 80 odd quid for both
£10 next July on the derby
Total savings of £56 . You can then weigh this £4 difference up against the extras of unspecified meet-and-greets with the players and the Rovers tv that only members get access to. Main problem is you don't get payback for a whole year.
I'd be surprised if season pass prices for everyone else went up as much as that, though, in the current economic climate - 20% would be a massive increase. £215 is more than we pay at the KC and we get until the end of December to pay. Admittedly, paying the same to watch Rovers would be better value from a rugby perspective.

I take it you won't be joining then? It's really pleasing to see many non-Rovers fans paying particular interest in this scheme, weighing up the pros and cons before deciding whether its for them or not!

Season tickets are going up £42 but you get them at this season's price if you join. Just looks like a way to get some cash in quickly to me. Cash flow problems perhaps?

Or perhaps a way of financing the East Stand extension. I'm probably wrong, as its clear humbugs know the ins & outs of the Rovers balance sheet far better than anyone connected to my club!

Where does it say that? If it's true that there's a +24% increase in the season ticket price unless you sign up for the membership scheme, surely that should be communicated. BTW, we hear endlessly that Rovers consult their fans on all important matters - strange that this major initiative seems to be news to all.

If it's just to pay for the stand extension then why the rush to bring it in? Are they already digging the footings or something? Why not just put up pass prices, explain to the fans why then let them pay for it over the next few months. Plus if it's to fund the extension then I'd assume that rovers will reduce pass prices back down when the stand is paid for and they go back to normal operations. or is this a way of trying to cut the losses the club has been making in the last few years?

Its as now as it was then.
