No there didn't!
A good 500 empty spaces in the South Stand
At least 700 empty seats in the North Stand
Well about half full, and plenty of empty seats in the RM Stand.
East Stand not a sell out.
Rovers paid the price of not discounting ticket prices. Have they not heard of the credit crunch?

Rovers paid the price for indicating it was a near sell out, would have put people off who might have fancied the game and don't go regular.

| Suprisingly Rovers average attendance is down so far this season, I know you havent played Hull yet, but would have still thought it would have gone up slightly with your form.
I was very suprised at how low you gate was against Cas (who brought a few), I thought it might be a sell out.

| I think we missed a trick not extending the other end of the East Stand as this sells out every week (in SL) and people wont, dont pay to go in south or north if they cant get in the east stand. I am a season ticket holder but the missuss isnt, if you could pay on the gate my missuss would have gone to a few games this season but so far hasnt been to any. It doesnt encourage season ticket holders to bring friends/partners to occasional games

| I thought we'd have got over 9,000 given the potential for us getting to Wembley but I guess the cost of tickets for people who have already paid for season tickets was too high.
Totally agree about the east stand extension, has to be a priority imo.

It is somewhat surprising to see the average down slightly, but if you look a bit deeper, its down to the fixtures played so far. All games except Leeds have been higher than the corresponding fixture last season:
2009 / 2008
Castleford 8,104 / 8,083
Huddersfield 8,731 / 7,101
Leeds 8,623 / 9,391
Catalan 8,115 / 8,074
Salford 8,104 / N/A
Celtic 8,046 / N/A
Wakefield 9,038 / 8,427
