i know a few people in this situation (who i end going with when possible), you just want to be with your mates, not on your own.'"
Fair do's, however would you not go alone and sit in say the North stand to watch your hero's??

| If this is to go ahead I think it is the best possible solution in the current economic climate.
I would however like us to put a roof on the North stand and make that the dedicated away stand, then the away supporters could at least come and not get wet! I think this would encourage a few more, but as someone else said, a state of the art North stand as proposed, would not see enough improvement in away support to justify getting ourselves too much debt at this point in time. However, it is a must for the future, when and if the government can get this country out of the poop we are in financially.
The extension to the eats stand is a must and I think that will definitely help increase our gate, I know a fair few that, if they can't stand with their mates in the east stand, they pick and choose games to come too.

i think the new north stand will be for home support only and the golf stand moved to the south for the away fans so away fans will still get wet even after the £6million invesment of the north stand but it will make the ground closer and less open and it will be a ground for the future and will be very good for Hull Kr when the improvements are done then we can get rid of the golf stand and consentrate on the south but itl probly be another 6-7 years before a solid south stand is made.

The company Rovers have used to draw up the plans and then build the thing, are the same company that built Oxford United's ground, The KASSAM STADIUM at a cost of fifteen million.
As you can see they left Oxford with the option of a golf stand on one end.

My post was about the temporary situation. When the new state of the art North stand was fisrt talked about, they said that when work began, the golf stand would move to the south and be given a roof.
If that is the case, then they should maybe put the roof on the new golf stand in the south, and then when the new North stand is built, just flog the other golf stand. In my opinion we desperately need to improve the standard of facility we offer away supporters at CP even if it is just a temporary measure.

Yeah and I respect that, however all I'm saying is, if you're going to develop one part of the ground then surely the logical thing to do would be to build a stand suitable for away fans. A lot of you might disagree but I just don't think extending the east stand should be youre priority tbh.

I think which ever is cheapest will be done first. Not saying it's right but as said, bad time for all at present.

| East stand must be the priority, we know we will fill it and have continued revenue from it. Putting a temp stand at the south will not mean we will fill it with away fans. An extended full east stand bringing in paying customers is a better prospect than a half empty south stand with some away teams not bringing many i.e. catalans, celtic. Then when times are better concentrate on the away facilities because the view needs improving from the south stand and facilities there are poor.

Once the east stand is finished, they might section one end off for away support, apart from Hull who can't behave.

Maybe Prescott could help you out with a few "expenses"
