I think you've got a point. Okay, a couple of times maybe. But I was getting a tad embarrassed in the North Stand next to the Giants fans.

| [i'the worst display of officiating I have seen in 20 yrs'[/i
Not my words, but the ones from a qualified referee stood near us.
The policing of the Hudds defensive line was at best incompetent, they were offside at 90% of all the plays, so much that Crabtree managed to get to the first receiver as he caugt the ball, which makes him quicker than Usain Bolt.
I also estimate at least 20 forward passes, including two in the build up to Wilds try, how they were missed was unbelieveable. JM said on Humberside that the officiating was diabolical, I personally thought it was so biased it was bordering on cheating by Thaler.
Why the hell was Robinson not sent off for his professional fould on Cooke, we have seen a minimum of sin-binning for this most of the time.
Thaler is a disgrace, I hope the club put in a strong protest to the RFL, he is also a coward, he left the field after shaking the hands of the some Hudds players and never attempted to do the same for any Rovers player.

I think the RFL are fully aware of Rovers standpoint on this one from Justin's very public and sustained rant at the press conference:
"It is the Easter weekend. It is difficult for everyone and it didn't help that they were allowed to get away with blue murder.
"I am going to teach my side this week to throw forward passes, stand offside all day and tackle round the head because every time we get him, we get the raw end of the stick.
"If I had a player that wasn't up to standard he gets dropped.
"He needs to spend some time learning the rules and getting in a position where he can understand the game better.
"It is absolutely disgraceful every time we get him.
"He is not up to this standard at all. He needs to spend some time at another grade, just like my players would.
"We turned up with the right attitude but got caned by the bloke in the middle and that is not acceptable in my eyes.
"Next time we get him we know what to expect - a substandard performance."
He added: "There is no excuse for our errors and I am not saying we deserved to win but there is a very common denominator every time there is a poor game of rugby league and that is Mr Thaler."
Of course, he could have made a measured and private complaint instead, but I'm sure the RFL will appreciate this public tirade against one of its officials.

TBH, Thaler deserves it, he was awful today. I know Morgan is likely to get a fine, but he spoke the truth, the bloke is either incompetent or cheating, there can be no other explanation.

I dont like it when coaches start on the ref, but it just goes to show how bad Thaler was to get Justin to rant on as he usualy is very media savy. It would have been better to shut up & go through the propper chanels as the video of the game will show how bad he was at keeping the 10 meters.

Thaler (and Silverwood for that matter) doesn't deserve to earn a living from our game.
Ganson, Alibert, Smith and Bentham play what they see, even though they make mistakes.

I know Justin has kept a lot of opinions about Silverwood and Thaler away from the media and raised issues with Stuart Cummins.
It would now appear he's lost patience with the system in place and it's understandable considering some of the tripe spouted from Cummins in the past.

You lost, get over it. Your coach's diatribe was embarrassing. He's nearly as bad as you.

Do you REALLY expect a former referee to side with a complaint about a current referee. I would bet that Thaler refs our next match and the appointment will be because of the criticisms against him.
