Cant see it to be honest, the club gave him a new contract in light of the allegations. Ben did the crime and has recieved his punishment

Grow up
We have to remember that Ben hasn't "gotten away" with anything, his sentence is still very serious!
I think he has let a lot of people down and has a lot of work to do to make up for that if he stays at Rovers. But if anyone's going to try their hardest to prove a point, it's Charlie.

With any luck, on Good Friday, it'll be in under your sticks.

The same as what happens when someone commits a racially motivated attack you mean, jog on.

Definitely. Ben's a great player to watch because of the effort and aggression he brings to everything he does on the field. Take that away and he's half the player he is now.

Nothing wrong with his aggression on the pitch, makes him the player he is. It's off the pitch he needs to sort himself out, very lucky with his sentence imo.

His CONTROLLED aggression assists his game, its the other type (which he has calmed down immensely with of late) he needsto be shot of. A couple of seasons ago if someone gave him a sly one in the tackle (!!!) he would jump up and 2@ them, now if you notice he doesn't, its showing signs of him maturing as a player and a person.
This attack was from when he had his un-controlled aggression, he has been sentenced and now its up to him to show us he is the player we all know he can be. If he read the HDM article with Tony Smith, he knows he is being recognised for the right reasons.

Yeah i know what you mean but sometimes these type of events can shake up a person to change there ways both on and off the field - He's not the first and won't be the last RL player to get off lightly so i think its time just to move on now
