The superb red and white army will have.

Would you like to see him at Craven Park
Why would he come, he wouldn't get in the team unless we had an injury crisis. If we end up needing a centre next season there are lots better we could go for. I reckon Welham will be as good by then given the opportunity to have an extended run in the 17.

My original thoughts TBH but there's always the option of Walker playing in the back row maybe.

2) Craig has been a massive Rovers fan all his life.
3) And Mrs Barista point out most alarmingly, why did he only sign a one year deal
1) No shock there then, everyone knows that.
2) Irelevant.
3) He turned down a 2 year deal as he was not in the first team and want to prove himself so earn a better deal with better terms. Also love it at Hull and is playing with his best mates.
Do try harder.

They are professional sportsmen with short careers, they will go where the best deal is (monetary as well as playing prospects). If the deal was right he would come here, Cas, Wire, Paramatta or even union, dont kid yourself about 'mates'

Not kidding myself about anything, I never said he would re-sign with us, I just said the words that came from his mouth!

It's not a case of "trying harder" as fortunately, we have a coach who can beat off competition to attract class players to Craven Park.
Time will tell where he ends up. Maybe more chance of regular 1st team rugby in the lesser side might be the better long term option rather than having to compete against finished articles in Walker and Webster.

Walker is a poor centre and if your really consider yourself to know your rugby then you would agree with that.
As a backrower he's potential GB material.

Putting up a good show and is very impressive in many assetts. Really needs to learn not to commit so early and hold the line a bit more in defence but I think that's down to enthusiasm and it's something he will learn.

Morgan is a good coach, no doubt about it. But attracting players is often more about money than the coach. One measure of a good coach is to get consistent performances and results, which he has yet to do; probably will happen this year but too early to say. Another is to develop young players and bring through your own pipeline of talent to form the nucleus of the squad as franchising brings tighter quota restrictions. Morgan's had nearly 3 years at Rovers and there's not much evidence so far that Rovers academy will form the backbone of the squad in the near future.
