Quote: dum-dum "Sorry, this is boring.

Is there a way to stop a thread from bringing up a golden page thing? My OCD mean's I can't ignore them but this is seriously dull, I may find myself watching "I'm a Z-list Celebrity".'"

Yeaman would be great on I'm a Celebrity. He suits a jungle hat, he would be good at chopping wood for the fire, and would provide numerous "blonde" moments.

Quote: Gavin Miller - Legend "McNamaras decision may have also been decided by Yeamans greater experiance as having made the decision to pick Reed 2 rookie centres at international level would of been a risk.'"

A collection of RL journalists voted Yeaman as the Dream Team centre alongside Carmont this year too. I wouldn't try and make out it's only McNamara that rates him the better centre currently, as that would be plain wrong.

OK we will let admin deal with this, because I have not read any where that moderators can call a person names on a board because they believe without providing evidence I hasten to add, that the poster is inconsiderate in what they post.
Also that a different poster on the same thread calls another poster a lowlife scumbag and the same moderator makes no reference to this and does not start name calling that particular poster.

Quote: Mrs Barista "What on earth are you talking about? You are the one who posted 150 times in 48 hours about Briscoe's relative inadequacies vs Peter Fox. I do believe this has been referenced in the intervening period. Sadly for you, Offiah himself is very pleased with our Tom. Oops.

rlhttps://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2011/nov/11/england-four-nations-new-zealand?newsfeed

"I really can't remember a time when we had a better back three," said the former Widnes, Wigan and London Broncos flyer. "Hall and Briscoe are a really good pair of wings. They've both got a bit of toe, and they're also big lads."

Anyone who boasts as arrogantly and unnecessarily as you seem to enjoy doing needs to be able to take as well as give. As for the comment in red, says everything about your ability to handle the reminder of some of your more OTT comments. Or lack thereof. I do believe it's against the AUP. Cockle. If I had the time effort and energy to breakdown your obsessive manipulation of quotes out of their original context, then I would because it's quite easy and I've done it many times before but I simply don't.

Anyone who contributes so little to a forum yet whose posts are based off the postings of others, has to come to terms that their behaviour is EDITED in every sense and needs addressing away from these boards IMO.

Yet there is strong opinion that a fit Shenton would be in the England team and he wasn't in the Dream Team.
And there are not many votes cast by journalists to be honest.
Andy Wilson once offered me and DDD to chance to join in and cast votes as there was little or no representation from the city of Hull.
It's a small community the RL press.

As you wish.
Although with your persona on this site and the fact it was hardly derogatory I don't see what you will achieve.

Makes Yeaman's selection all the more impressive then. Charlie Mullan said on RH that he voted for Blake Green as the competition's best stand-off, so you'd imagine Welham got at least one vote.

Not really, might of only been one vote, where as you were intimating that it was a large vote when the reality is far different.

not many people would argue with the fact that Dobson has the best kicking game close to the oppositions line in the entire league so it would be interesting to see how many of kris welhams tries have come from pinpoint kicks in goal leaving him nothing more to do other than get his hand on the ball, the point being scoring more tries is not the only skill required in centre play, yeaman,s allround game puts him just ahead of welham IMO of course

Not intimating anything. You've said Yeaman's not as good as Welham and implied that McNamara made a mistake in picking him in your opinion. You referenced Shenton as the automatic pick at centre. Most would agree that Atkins played very well this season. Yet despite all this "evidence", Yeaman is voted into the Dream Team ahead of all 3. It's not a panel of FC supporters, and as you say, is perhaps under-represented in terms of the Hull viewpoint. I say "well done Yeaman".

There's nothing more certain than that this coming weekend England will get turned over on the back of errors and missed tackles by Yeaman and/or Briscoe, but the fact is that McNamara's selection, supporting their Dream Team selection, has been justified up to now.
