| Good for him and good for Wakefield.
I never thought he was a terrible coach. I do think he oversaw a very poor preseason that has contributed significantly to our very poor form. I doubt he'll make the same mistake again. Staying with us would have destroyed his career, and delayed us moving on - as we'd have had to eventually IMO.

So Chesters proving he isn't rubbish whilst Millers proving he still is?
That makes sense.

| Whats miller got to do with c. chester? you got rid of him because certain people thought he was the reason behind your form, hes taken over arguably the worst squad in SL and is in line to be coach of the month,Whilst you still flap around near the bottom,As I keep saying he might not be the bad apple at your club, IMO

| Chester keeps being brought into the debate by non-Rovers fans. I don't think any Rovers fan wants Chester to fail, he just didn't have our team performing for him. Since Webbo took charge our performances have been much better but the results haven't gone our way, an example is the derby.
The Catalan result was poor but they had the ball for 60 minutes which was due to a number of things, we will come back from this.

| The point is that we're about as likely to mourn discarding Chester as you are to miss hat trick hero Miller. Very roughly. Or Reece Lyne or Joe Arundel.
I never thought Chester was a bad apple. I wish him well, I just felt he was responsible for a problem that he, himself would not be able to fix.
Now he's gone, he's not going to be a target for Hull fans. In fairness, Peter Gentle shot up in our estimation once Pearson started blaming him for everything.
So, looking at the Hull board, I'm guessing Peacock is your choice for pin the blame on the scapegoat and 'rumblings'?

| Quote: hull2524 "Whats miller got to do with c. chester?'" Everything. You may find this concept difficult so I will type slowly to assist your though process. Miller failed at your club yet is thriving at another. So, your decision to send him on his way has proved to be good for both parties, the kid clearly needed a change in environment. Exactly the same with Chester. He needed a change too and in the long run both Chris and Rovers will be much better for the decision.
Quote: hull2524 "you got rid of him because certain people thought he was the reason behind your form'" No, we got rid because we'd been rubbish since about May last year. If by "certain people" you mean 99.9% of the support base, then maybe you are right.

Your teams gash you ditched the coach, it's still gash. Miller was not what radders wanted so he binned him off, we got Sneyd & Pryce, we are heading in the right direction....you keeping up?

Who's squad was it? Chesters. Who had overseen some pretty poor results, same answer.
3 weeks ago Sneyd was rubbish according to most of your fan base as was Radford. I really hope your board agree you're going in the right direction and give him a 5 year extension now because in the bipolar world of FC fan dom you'll all want him sacking by August.

| you have a point about Radford, but he was givin time and he has turned it round,my point is a lot of you blame chester hence he was sacked yet look at him now,and if some people are right then the main problem is still there and before you ask who that is look on our board and hes mentioned, im carefull who I name as got into trouble once and got my hand slapped,

Not by me they wasn't, we all have a fickle few, I'm glad Chester is going well at wakey, kr fans blame Kelly & campese is that the same? Or is it acceptable to do one thing yet but call others for doing the same? Glass houses & all that.
