30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

What deal did The Ginger Maestro sign?

For the right money i think both chairmen would sell but a more pertinent point is why would either coach want to leave to come to us ?

| Unfortunately, we've dithered around to much, that in Webster's case we have lost out again!!.
I hope I'm wrong, but Chester isn't the answer. But its all on him now. The first time he's had to earn his corn at Rovers, but can he take this opportunity? Turn over Saints this weekend and I might start believing.

Because we are Hull Kingston Rovers the biggest name in global rugby league, in fact sport in general, which gives us a god given right to win every game we play, and any sane coach in his right mind would walk over broken glass bare foot to come to us.
Actually no, you're right, in fact the way things have been around here lately it's about as appealing a prospect as going to FC to play scrum half, poison and chalice spring to mind.

My point exactly if we look at the situation and imagine we are not fans how appealing is the Rovers head coach job to anyone? especially anyone already gainfully employed as a head coach, they would have to have recently taken a bang to the head

I was starting to lean towards your Peter Gentle suggestion up until reading Fcs board and the stories/rumours of jobs and pay deals for his mates such as Miller and McDonnnell, put me off. Out of the names being mentioned on here I'm leaning towards Peter Sharp, if it's true he fancies another crack at super League. Not sure if he's had a suitably large bang to the head recently though.

einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result: |
|
| I think we're a better proposition than Wakefield who seem to lurch from one financial disaster to another and both are chasing the pipedream of a new stadiums which are never going to happen so I know which club I would chose

| I would be happy with either of those Dudley, sadly I fear will will get Woolagongs assistant water carrier on a rolling contract (or Purtill as I heard he walked into a scaff pole yesterday sustained a mild concussion that may be enough, get him while he's dazed)

So long as he passes the Psycobiometric thingymajig test the Woolagong waterboy will do just fine.

| For the record i don't think we would be able to offer money for either of them but my point is they would sell for the right offer, I'm very pro chester and believe he will do a good job not a great job but good enough to raise us from our current state

Totally agree, you never know what could happen.
