He's a very brave and very strong man.....35 tackles at half time. Don't know what he ended with. Boudebza can offer a lot more in attack too once he gets the confidence to try things.
Tilse went well. Technically good and intelligent too. Chester has put some fire in Green 's belly and he's better for it.
Played with 15 men for most of the game with Horne injured and Esslemont not used.
Campese is just a class act.
Blair schooled Williams and Sargison all game.
No Kelly Goulding Allgood Walker Lunt Burke last night.
Fabulous effort.

einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result:

Bob on. This guy is the difference between winning and losing for me. Utilising him in Kelly's position last night gave me heart also, as there is an alternative when he's injured.

I agree, Blair and campese work well. Not sure a Blair kelly pairing does. Need an option for if campo is injured.

If Rugby League Rocks, then Hull KR is its Soul.:

There were 14 defensive heroes for Rovers last night and that's omitting Graeme Horne due to his early injury, Kieran Dixon who was flyweight and Sonny Esslemont not used.

Of those 14, Blair and Boudebza were beyond immense.

Priority 1 - sign up Boudebza and Larroyer to minimum 2 year contract extensions now. Priority 2 - keep Blair healthy. Priority 3 - solve the Kieran Dixon conundrum and don't risk him against physical teams.

Drop the man who scored winning tries against saints and Wigan and man of the match against hull and huddersfield. Who don't we risk him against?
He is a fantastic talent who keeps improving.

Don't the number of tackles Graham Horne made in the first half count?

No thanks, besides as I may have mentioned once or twice previously, WE DON'T HAVE ANY QUOTA SPOTS FREE FOR THIS SEASON OR NEXT!

Move on.

icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif That's Priceless, mate. I think the guy eating this salad is thinking 1 of 2 things. £1.99 for this pile of in McDonalds and no tomato or low calorie ranch dressing or how many of these do I have to eat before I can pull a bird.

Looking like that, he needs to chomp on a lot of salads.

I am a big fan of Kieran Dixon, but he was far from his best last Friday. The conditions didn't help and I lost count of the negative territorial gains he made trying to bring the ball out. Because he stands so upright in the tackle, he gets pushed back with ease and this happened too much for my taste. He also needlessly gave the penalty away on the 5th tackle that led to the field position for Tompkins first try.

The conundrum - is he a fullback or a winger? Cockayne was outstanding at FB last Friday and I'm left wondering if the game outcome may have been different If Kieran Dixon had played there.

I am at Headingley next Friday and I'll be interested to see how he matches up opposite Ryan Hall if he stays on the right wing.

Regarding Maurice Blair, I remember watching him for Melbourne and he was roughly the same size for them, I think he is one of those players who looks out of place playing elite Rugby League but carries it well, players like David Solomona, Jamie Lyon and George Rose in Aus look like pub team players but are excellent athletes in their own right.

Regards Boudebza I wouldn't of thought he was on top money (no more than £20k a season), so deffo worth an improved 2 year extension, he`s still raw, but young enough to get some good habits in him, and if we sign Lunt then he is a perfect person to learn off.

How many quota spots are we allowed and who presently fills them? .....I can think of Blair, Kelly, Allgood, Sio and Tilse, so that makes five ......Is that the right answer? .....I know Josh is classed as Italian, is Terry as well?

Blair, Kelly, Tilse, Allgood, Sio, Mantellato and Campese are our 7 non-fed. At least 2 of them must be EU/Kolpak. JM and KS, possibly?
