Regarding Scott Murrell, hell do a great job in the championship IMO, he's not the quickest, biggest or smartest but the Fax players will thrive off his eagerness and competetiveness.'"
Fair - clearly we have missed out on our top targets, and settled for someone who had a good solid season. I'm not too downbeat about that to be honest

| I think Scott Murrell will end up like Ben Fisher, Jordan Tansey and a few others did last season, he's clearly too good for the Championship at his age and will probably get a deal in Super League when clubs start to get injuries. He's a good player whose lost his way a touch. A few kilos off and he'll be back to been a decent loose forward in Super League.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

You can't?!
He's an ordinary player and the fact he got overweight and wasn't dropped for it shows the club didn't give a toss or think he was good enough to keep.

| With almost 150 games for the club, over 100 of them at SL level, he's earned the right to be classed as SL standard, maybe not stand out, but I suspect your use of the word "ordinary" is a poor attempt to portray him as something that he's not. He's only a yard of pace off being a very good player.
Rovers offered him a contract, he didn't feel it met his own valuation so declined the offer. The cap space was then re-allocated elsewhere hence he moved on. He will be back in SL at some point, I'm sure of that.

His position (loose) has changed over the last few years which hasn't helped, a shame he couldn't adapt to hooker.

I think it was Morgan trying to make him into a hooker in 2009 that started his demise. That, and (as you say) the current preference to play a prop at 13.

Been watching them over 35 years and yes, I've seen some bad players in the Black and White.
Our "Ordinary" players certainly did a great job this year, whereas superstar Murrell helped your team to a financially disastrous finish to 2012.

This is so thick on so many levels. You spent so much of the last 35 years watching dross you forgot the directions to school, clearly.
