He didn't do it on purpose, unfortunate for Withers but sometimes it happens.
I don't know how to feel he was a good leader for the pack, didn't do anything spectacular just did the tough stuff. We are lacking experience in our front row now and we are very light with possibly 3 signed on for next season.

| Good signing for HKR I espect him to rip next season after a season settling in highlight and heroic status for me planting Bailey in the friendly at Leeds when he was re carded. All the besy Justin thanks for the time at Wakey.

| Good signing, you have a good set of props next year, was impressed last season with Walker and again in the WC.

| I feel for Wakefield in all this. For the 2nd time in 3 years, they are having a fire sale of their best players and we are picking over a twitching corpse. However, others have done it so I suppose it's dog eat dog (or robin eats cat in this case).
Straight replacement for ET, lets hope he's an upgrade otherwise it was a bit pointless (and I don't believe the party line on ET's return down under by the way).

Yeah, I'm pleased with this. One of those signings that makes a big a difference to the look of the squad - if only on paper at this stage.
We arguably look stronger in the pack (I'd argue we are), which having lost our stand-out forward of 2013 in Paea, is a happy surprise.

I'd agree with that, bit of a worry on the penalty count front but that will need to be managed I suppose. I can see us being a lot more workmanlike next year but with a decent platform most halves will perform.

| Outs Vs Ins in the pack
Front Row
Paea Vs Weyman
ET Vs Poore
O'Hara Vs J. Walker
Beaumont Vs Maki/Netherton
Withers - Unreplaced more game time for Carlile
Backrow
Paterson Vs Costigan
Mika Vs Larroyer
Griffin Vs Langley
With the exception of Paea and to a much lesser extent ET, I aren't particularly concerned about the players we have lost in the pack compared to those coming in. I think overall we should hopefully see a more consistent performance from them, particularly when defending - I don't see that pack getting bullied by many!

| Player vs player it looks pretty good especially as O'hara never played at all and Paterson missed a very large chunk of the season.
The hooker position is a bit of a worry, who do we have as 3rd choice in case of an injury or resting. do we have anyone in the U19's to fill the void?

Connor Robinson has been promoted from the academy.

The good thing about hooker is that you can play 15 minutes here and there without it being a complete waste of a bench spot. 18 is very young in the modern game though.
