I think Sandercock is more than capable of finding a replacement. He got Burns here didn't he? Dobson is great and I'm very sad to be losing him, but I'm sure, now we have Burns, that we will find a 7 that can make a great partnership with him.
Many have said, that Craig is a workaholic (he studies the game very closely), and we know how he has a talent for knowing about hidden gems in the RL world, so for me I'm not too worried!

As for the Dobson conspiracy theory, I think Salford fans are just dreaming! He has always seemed to have a lot of professional integrity and I don't see that changing any time soon.

Reported in the Newcastle supplement to the Sunday Telegraph today (not online) that the Dobson signing took 48 hours from when the Knights became aware he was available to announcement.

Seems like a last minute decision by Dobson to leave then. Maybe hudge reminded him of his clause in his latest HDM piece

Dobbo is a legend in east hull and fully deserves his shot at NRL whether it took 2seconds or 2days he has to take a chance with a 7 slot in aus! Burns is just starting to show his form in SL and the rest of the league know about it!

Didn't sandercock in the after match interview say that dobbo had always expressed his wishes to go back and test himself in the Nrl and sandercock did say "I'm glad I have been able to make this possible for him as he deserves it" so has sandy already got his eye on sum one I wud say yes good luck to dobbo hope he is successful back in Nrl

So the supposed talks and offers made with other half backs to be his replacement are not true.

I'm not a Roberts fan, but Wayne Bennett seems to be.
Hooker is our other weak position with Buderus finishing up and Gidley out more than he is in, and Roberts does a bit of time at hooker now, so I can see them both in the side, with Roberts maybe bench hooker and Dobson in the 7.

With the NRL get out clause in Dobbos contract the club did some quiet fishing weeks ago regarding possible replacements either expecting A.Dobson to be NRL bound by this sunday.B.Sold to Salford after a large bid(if agreed by player an obviously he didn't fancy it)C.a contract extension.
Therefore I reckon the club and coach are infront of the ball game in replacement terms so far.

He did aright today.
