[quote="The Reason":3e09qe5x]Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.
Regards,

| Quote: Roverswall "That may have something to do with his now former coach and fans attitude towards him.
You know one mistake and he thinks 'Oh f*** i'm gunna get slaughtered for that'.
If I knew that was coming after every little thing I did wrong it would put a huge slice of doubt in my mind as well.'"
Very true, I always got the feeling some fans thought he was going to jump over east when hkr came calling.
And with that he didn't get the full support off some.
If not at the start of the season he'll have one of the starting centre jerseys by the end of the season and it wouldn't surprise me if he was hkrs top try scorer.

If he did when Agar said 'you can go' last time he would have crossed over in a shot but he didn't.

| Quote: Roverswall "Also lets not forget that all players are diffrent.
Some react best to a good bawling out after a mistake where as others need the big brother arm across the shoulders reaction.
Now if Craig needs the second reaction but he is getting the first one he is always going to go into his shell after getting bawled out.'"
Think they have tried everything with Craig, he just seems to be a sensitive lad who lets his head go down when he makes an error, he has to become tougher mentally if he is to succeed.

Looking from the outside Paul it did seem that for a time it was a case that if there was a problem Agar palmed it on Craig if he could I would imagine that has to have an effect after a time.
Then add to the fact that He (Craig) must have know that the slightenst thing and a fair few fans would be at him would add to his worries.
Maybe he does need to be a bit mentally tougher but come on Paul if you knew you were going to get unfair stick everytime you made a simple mistake how would you react?
And lets be honest Paul he did recive stick for things that would go completly unnoticed if done by other players.

What stick did he get? He never got chanted at or booed, I don't know where all this stick came from?
Unless you mean 20/30 comments on here, well if that bothers him it really proves my point.

I would imagine only time will tell if it was Craig or his enviroment that was his issue.

| I for one am ecstatic about this signing.
I truly believe craig has masses of ability und under a new coach can realise his potential.
And I totally buy the whole confidence thing we have guys at work and no doubt the rest of you do who half of them need a good kick up the when they mess up and the other half need an arm around them telling them they will do better next time.
I believe this is where good man management comes in and I believe Morgan has this in ubbundance and that agar has none

Hall will be a quality addition, better decision making from him. and being stronger in the collison when defending and its a great signing.

I suppose I should be honored

| Quote: rover49 "Two seasons ago I would have paid him to leave, but he has really improved in his defence work and puts in some massive hits when defending his line. He isn't as quick as Hall, but I think his brain is quicker and he reads the game around our kick attack moves very well. You may relish Hall being our centre, but Welhams defence is now very good, which is maybe what Morgan is aiming to do with Hall, if he can get him defending like Welham does, he will be an asset to us with his pace and attacking skills.
I am still to be convinced about Hall, but he is here now and I am confident he will be receiving a far higher standard of coaching and conditioning at Rovers, so if he cannot do it here, he won't do it anywhere.'"
I agree with most of that

| I'm really pleased Hall has signed because besides wanting to see my team win, I like to be entertained by watching quality attacking players with flair and pace and Hall certainly has these qualities regardless of his perceived frailties.
Hall has stated in the HDM that he's grateful to Richard Agar and Andy Last etc. but he surely must have doubted whether Agar and co. really had the knowledge or tools get get the best of a player like him and I'm sure he'll have far more trust and confidence under better guidance of a quality coach like JM.
If he gets a chance in the left centre, that would mean he'd be playing inside Willie Mason where he could be really useful feeding of Mason breaking the line/offloads etc.

A mouth watering prospect.

You've made up a situation / excuse that doesn't exist with this "stick" you keep going on about.
Craig Hall, to my memory has always been supported by Hull FC fans. In fact, I think if there has ever been any frustration it is that he is simply not living up to his potential - and hasn't season on season, unlike players like Briscoe, Houghton etc. But I've never heard him in boo-ed or anything like that, well other than the odd individual idiot. You'll get a "groan" whenever a player makes a mistake in a good attacking position (which unfortunately Hall does a lot), but that is certainly not unique to either Hall or Hull FC - and if that is effecting him, well it illustrates the point about confidence quite clearly.
As much as it pains me to say it, Morgan is a better coach than Agar. Hall has been a "nearly" player for quite a few seasons. I'm hopeful for the lad that this is a good move for him and that he goes on to be the player I think he could be.
