Not Kingswood, that is not East Hull. Not Hedon, that is not in Hull. So come on, where will this new place be built?
I have seen a patch of land at the end of Holderness ruuurd, used to be Cornmill Hotel, maybe that location could be used?
I want to see investment and to see Hull get better but would prefer to start with Housing, Schools, Hospitals, Sporting Academies (linked to Schools ie Sirius) and some more Bingo arena's.
When I hear one good reason why Hull City Council should build HKR a Stadium I will sign the petition, how is that for fairness?
Dont give me the spin of 'Community links, gym's, education' and all that bum fluff, for Preston Road see Freedom Centre, the new School etc etc etc for Holderness Road see Woodford, for Longhill see the thing near big shops I cannot be d to find the name of ![]()
It's called East Park.    Couldn't be more perfect - an area fit for The Kings.  
Oh, and any news on the shop?

Probably because if you add all of the fans of Hull, City and Rovers it does not even equate to half the population of Hull. Why the hell should another of our Cities parks be destroyed to accommodate a stadium that only one club wants?
I will say it again. YOU HAVE THE CHOICE TO PLAY IN HULL'S STADIUM. IT IS AS CENTRALLY LOCATED AS WAS POSSIBLE AND APART FROM A FEW HUNDRED ROVERS FANS THERE IS NO INTEREST IN BUILDING ANOTHER!!
I think this 'debate' has run it's course now. It is now established there is no good reason to have another Stadium built. Oh, other than Leeds and Sheffield (although paid for by the clubs) have two stadiums and the old argument that if West Park has one East park needs one!!
I bet the children who are unable to play sport at School due to lack of equipment and the people living in the middle of smackheads and robbers are just as keen to waste more Council money on a stadium only a few hundred Rovers fans want.
Here is a novel idea, why not ask Money Bags Crossland to bring his business over from Warrington and start the blue chip company influx you wanted Bertie. Maybe then the Council will have a change of heart

It simply cannot be built (at all, it's a ludicrous idea) in East Park. That stinking of slash tower is a Hull landmark and should be grade two listed.

I like using East Park for frizbee, speed walking and dogging and hope it is kept in it's current form for ever.
I have plenty of Super League and NRL balls in mate, £10 for size 5 £5 for midi's, cheaper than any online retailer or club shop.
Also shoulder pads and headguards starting at a tenner.
Usin it as a showroom for now as I am too busy with team wear and schools/college contracts but as soon as I can find some staff I will open

The exact same line could be used to justify expenditure in East Hull, but for some (as yet unspecified) reason, you are strongly opposed to any public cash being used there.
You used to have the occasional class moment as a floating troll, now your anti-Rovers bitterness has spolied it. |
