| If rovers knew this was the case then why not hold on to the tickets until the remaining allocation has arrived. They know the tickets will sell so could of laid the money out up front to Hull to cover the full allocation.They would get it back in a day. Now they have left themselves with loads of extra work collecting names and numbers to distribute the tickets.

Ive got friends that are rovers fans and they have talked about the incompetence of their shop before, especially in relation to the distribution of their new shirts etc.
Think rather than looking to blame FC they should start to look at their own to find where things are going wrong.

This is were Hull FC's fault comes into it, they only sent the number they did and wouldn't let Rovers have anymore until they were sold apparently so holding onto them until more arrived wasn't an option, they had to sell them first. As I have said this is a situation that has developed over the last couple of years and is the fault of both clubs IMO.

I agree that FC should of just sent the tickets(but reasons for this may be due to the rumours of the previous payments etc), but the point I was making was that Rovers should of paid for the tickets up front so these would of been classed as sold enabling the next allocation to be sent. Then they would of had all the tickets to sell together rather then spend hours trailing through names telephone numbers etc.
Both clubs need to take a leaf out of the players books especially the KR ones that are supporting the Richard Horne RL Factor night.

your right Rugby supporters should not be messed around like this if its my clubs fault ,im gutted ,i did hear that it was to do with FC not receiving payment during the winter for the last derby tickets your club sold ,but its only rumur so could be un true ,im still gutted any fans have to be messed around like this ,an earlier poster said the 1st derby was great ,carnival attmesphere both cheer leaders ,both mascotts ,a great day out for both fans lets get back to this ffs

Agree with you on that, everyone knows these tickets would sell & at a fast pace too. Of course would of been easier for all tickets to be ready for purchase on Monday, but as the story goes! Hopefully all those involved will remember this problem & learn going forward for future games.
In regards to tickets, received a call earlier today & got told ours are now ready for collection – nearly makes that 4 hr wait on Monday morning worthwhile!
