Are you from the future?
Oh and as for the rest of your post we are doing nothing that others yourselves included have done in the past.
I did kinda mention that if you bothered to look at my post instead of going rabid!'"
I said you are going into your fifth season - we're nearly at the end of the fourth. You were looking for a comment, hence you bumping the thread. If you want some homegrown kudos, try Castleford, promoted in 2008, for whom Owen, Shenton, Huby, Westerman played 100 games between them in 2009, an average of 25 games each.

The team that scores points on franchise criteria arn't an egotistical, rabid FC fan with no life, who has a husband with the balls of peanuts for not telling you to go and love yourself when you mentioned him going to watch FC over rovers.
So we can expect them to stick to the RULES and if the RULES say we get a point then we get a point if they say we dont then we don't but we can safely assume they wont be borrowing you black and white specs!!'"
Ouch. You know nothing about my life, yet see fit to comment on it and my family in a rather nasty way. Why deliberately try to provoke comment on Rovers "homegrown" players , going as far as to bump the thread to do so, when you're unable to handle the response without resorting to insults?

I didn't say it was the same. You've tried to provoke a debate claiming that Rovers, at the end of their 4th season in SL are doing a great job on the homegrown players front. All I was saying was that Kris Welham, a prop taken from the West Riding and 2 games for Sam Latus when your 4 first choice backs are injured isn't exactly the gold standard for the competition. No need to stress about it.

I plus anyone who posts on here and sees how you can't miss an arguement against HKR knows enough.
They also know that like I said if your hubby had any balls would have told you to do 1 one when by your own admission in the past you turned him black and white.
So ill stick by my comments thankyou very much.

Also blooding young players gradually is what some coaches do if they can.
Plus young players take their chance when they can that is exactly what Sam Latus is doing.
Also are we the only club to pick up juniors from other regions?, by some Cas fans own admissions Watts was a good prospect but lacked the aim for SL something he now has guess who brought that out in him?
Also dont forget we have players who were juniors on our books that are playing elsewhere, 1 player from Saint Helens and 1 from Leeds spring to mind.
Would they still be here if we were able to offer SL rugby?
So the boohoo'ing Because some of our juniors were not born in a HU postcode is rather tiresome.

Mr B is a diamond. I don't think it's appropriate for you to slate his character on here when you know nothing about him. I understand you might have felt the need to after:
1 You make a rather smug post that Rovers have hit the mark on bringing young players through and anyone who questioned this in the past looks stupid.
2 When no one rises to it, you bump the thread and claim some sort of victory.
3 Someone provides an alternative presentation of the facts that's not spun in quite the same way.
4 You don't like 3 so resort to personal insults of said poster and bring said poster's spouse in for a character slating as well.
The facts are that Kris Welham has come through your academy and you've made a good spot in Watts. Well done. All clubs have to have 8 homegrown players (although not all include an Australian), hence when you have a lot of injuries, say 4 to the backine, there aren't many other options. It's an alternative view of Rovers position to yours, so deal with it. Preferably without resorting to personal insults, if you feel able, of course.

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?: |

HULL KINGSTON ROVERS is my religion, Craven Park is my church and Jordan Abdull is my God: |
|
| Hull masses of home grown players, such as the Briscoes you mean Mrs B
And to talk of options, Rovers could have just slotted Matt Cook in but they didn't they gave Scott Taylor his chance because Justin said he deserved it so hardly a last resort

The facts are Kris Welham didn't come through Rovers acadamy only. He was in fact on Hulls books at U-18's and played a number of acadamy games for them under Steve Crooks and after that spent quite a bit of time at Doncaster before he got his chance at Rovers. Don't think Rovers can take all the credit for his development

There's plenty of players like that though Washbrook spent some time at Rovers before heading to Hull

Been at Hull since he was 16. I'd say that pretty much give Hull full claim on his development as a player. Fact is Kris Welham was 19 when he came to rovers and had spent time with two other pro clubs.

| Finch, Lima and more general rumours on signings are fine. So is youth development - RBA has started a thread on it, in fact. Mr Barista's testicles - no.
