I don’t necessarily share his views, and i know that on occasion Hull fans try to pose as Rovers fans (often with hilarious ineptitude). But, on the other hand, some people do tend to the angry or miserable. Just look at the Hull board, during one of the best times in their history - those aren’t all Rovers infiltrators. Some are dildos, admittedly.

I used to like Hutchie, everyone knows Coffee Woman and I are friends online, I've never met her.

Jake, I've never met and my family certainly are ashamed of having something to do with him gaining some sort of an education, but we're a charitable and good family, me aside.

People say these boards are dieing because of changing social media, probably true, but I'm sure we can maintain the hatred.

Web fan forums have generally drifted out of fashion, of course. There was an article about it in When Saturday Comes, a month or two ago. However, apparently RLFANS has seen something of a reversal of that trend recently. I doubt we’ll ever get back to the mid-late noughties heyday, but still.

Even before the Facebook scandal, it, twitter and others were seeing a squeeze from other stuff (snapchat and instagram possibly - I really dunno), as well getting a bit toxic around the edges and having some issues with uneven/overstretched moderation. It’ll be interesting to see how fashions change, but I suspect i’ll stay here like a ageing Ted, Mod or Punk. Instagram isn’t going to work for me any better than skinny jeans and a permed fringe would.
