Yes....yes that's the point of the post. The post had nothing to do with being concerned with rugby league's need to support clubs like Sheffield. The history of rugby league and how it came from poor communities and has a history of economic struggles. Rovers fans then start refusing to share cup gate receipts and displaying the worst attitudes of our Shark neighbours. Let's let Sheffield go to the wall. If Wigan fans had advocated keeping cup receipts from us when we were previously in the lower leagues there would be some serious bleating on here.

I assume non of us now what the actual detail of the 'negotiations' between us and Sheffield entail but I would expect Sheffields representatives to get the best return for their money. Just as a final point, I believe we are charge the highest ticket prices in the league, most clubs will come expecting a spanking so why would they turn up on a freezing Sunday, pay a premium price to see a rout??

I remember when we played Wigan, with a depleted squad, knowing we was going to take a pummeling (and we did) and took about 150 fans. I;m not ashamed to say I gave that one a miss as I wasn't spending my hard earned to watch that. Think some of our fans need a bit of perspective.

It's not a shock having no away fans I only expected Bradford to bring a few and I guess there will be a big turnout of Fev fans on Good Friday and Halifax will maybe bring a few but expecting teams that get 500 at home to travel in large numbers is nonsense does anybody actually remember when we were last in this league we had no away fans apart from the odd game

Im with you on this one, the kid made a huge mistake 10 years ago, who didn't make mistakes in their 20s? might not be as bad as he did, but what he does for the club with fundraising efforts for the RSG, plus its undisputed in the fact he bleeds red and white and loves this club to bits. Loyalty is a hard thing to find in sport, one thing you cannot question is that he is as loyal as they come. That and the fact he has played some bloody good rugby for us over the years.

But we have better wingers the problem with Ben is yes he gives 100% and can cover a few positions but he's not really good enough in any of them I'd keep him as cover only
