| Quote: RoverAndOut "I won't be going to 4 of the regular season games, so I thought that when I renew my pass on-line I would take up the 25% offer. You are right the website won't allow it (unless I also didn't have the patience to find it.)
It looks like if you want the deal, you have to request it in the shop. I wonder if they have a special naughty boys queue so "real" fans who pay full pops, will know and can sneer and throw things at the cheapskates.'"
No naughty boys queue. The offer from the club is to people who cannot afford the full price. Fortunately, for the finances of our club, most fans have chosen to pay the full whack. You obviously choose to pay less because you will miss some matches, fair enough but why make such a big issue of things? If you cannot sort things out on line just give the club shop a ring and they will sort you out with equal politeness whichever option you have chosen.
I suspect from the unpleasant remarks you made you are actually feeling a little guilty about your decision.

My comments were only tongue in cheek I assure you. Sorry if for some reason it riled you up!
I think the initiative from the club has been very clever and has really helped to galvanise the support base and the proof has been in the number of passes sold already and also those who haven't taken the discount.

Your last line is a bit of an over reaction here, Keith. I certainly saw the tongue in cheek irony of Rover and Out's post. You need to plead guilty to a sense of humour failure on this occasion.

| Amazing to see you've sold so many season passes already! Great work! Should be a great season, seems to be more competitive each year! Can't wait to come to your place in Round 1 Hope we both finish top 2!
It's not all bad in the Championship! Makes a change going to some of the older grounds, places some of you may never have been before too? Also get as many fans to Blackpool as you can! It's a great weekend!

After spending half the last 20years in the lower echelons of RL I thought their wouldn't be many of the grounds that would be new to Rovers supporters and to be fair the only one I can think of is Bower Fold were Oldham play.
Toulouse Olympique XIII play at the Stade Ernest Argeles and IIRC we played there in 2013 beating Catalan with a very late try 21-22. Maybe Swinton Lions ground at Sedgley Park could be a new ground Swinto moved to Sedgley park in 2004 prior to us joining SL. They've since played at a few grounds but now returned & Rochdales stadium is Spotland renamed.

I get annoyed when so many people on boards take every opportunity to run down our club. Obviously they do not get everything right, we are supposed to be supporters but I do wonder at some posts. It then becomes difficult without knowing the person what is behind the post. If you post tongue in cheek maybe a smiley or something will make you intention clear. Sorry for the misinterpretation.

Did you see it before or after Rover and Out's reply? I will be more impressed with your intuitiveness if it was before. Then we will never know for sure looking at the times of the posts will we?

| Probably half of the superleague sides would love this many pass holders two weeks before Xmas. Some won't get anywhere near that mark even when the season starts. Huddersfield and Salford for starters.

The answer is before and after. Before, sharp intake of breath followed by what is he saying and why is he saying it like that thought process. After, another sharp intake of breath, followed by a need to reinforce your over reaction in support of Rover and Out.
I agree that irony in written communication can misfire. In my case, I suppose that 2 wrongs don't make a right either, so apologies from me to you in that regard.
We all need to draw a line and move on.

JP mentioned in his interview to Hull KR.TV yesterday that last year we sold 5200 in total.
4500 is a remarkable achievement to date and with a bit of luck we should surpass last seasons total.

We played at Stade Ernest Wallon in 2013, it's a different venue to where Toulouse Olympique play but they are both in the same area of the city. Another new ground to tick next April.

Can't say I'm too bothered Workington and Whitehaven getting relegated hated those long trips that seemed to go on forever

A lot of the older fans will have but it could be a brand new experience for the younger fans! And a chance to teach them about the history of RL and maybe recount a few stories of times the older lot went to these grounds! I know my grandad always remembers and tells me about old games when we play teams, for example, when we played you in 2015 in the Challenge Cup (good game btw) he recalled the time against you I think when Len Casey walked the team off the pitch. Against Workington last season, another story etc.
Plus it makes a change going to the older grounds too. As long as you don't get used to it again like we have Be a few interesting games against you lot next year. 3, maybe 4 I believe!

well I do not remember Len Casey doing that I thought it was another player who played for you but time and age play tricks on you so he might be right
