Stan. I'm loving this sanguine and realistic Private Laurie "we're all doomed" mantra of yours.
I remember being similarly spellbound by same last year when you calmly stated that we should concentrate on the league as the away match in the CC against Wigan was " not a winnable tie."
Win both our remaining games and we will end up 9th. However, if Wakey lose both remaining games away at Catalans and home to Cas, we're 8th if we win both ours.
The way Super League is this year, Anything's possible. |

I'd be more worried about Leeds than us at the moment. I think you have a good chance to beat us. |

We should win on paper there no doubt, but aren't playing well and if you scored early, i think our confidence could go, we are really struggling in dealing with kicks particularly high kicks, so if you get your tactics right you have a chance.
Saying that we were really poor against Hudds, but didn't think we were too bad on Friday,thought Leeds were really good, hooker will make a huge difference and so much class in the backs that I think they will start to play now and win the middle 8s easily. |

Good result and things look a bit rosier than they have for a while.
Good shot at avoiding the spoon now, and 4 home games in the middle 8s is in our own hands.
Catching Cas or Wakey is a thin and fragile hope, and I'm going to avoid even thinking about it for now. If we did win the Derby though...
Looking ahead to that game, Hull still looked (mostly) well organised against Huddersfield and Leeds. Maybe just a tiny bit jaded in attack - though Sneyd was v.good yesterday. Hudds and Leeds both played well, I thought, as well. Tough game, but I'm a tad more optimistic than I was for the last two, when a big, big score against looked a very distinct possibility.

Right now, apparently both Hull and Rervers will struggle to field 17 fit blokes for next week's derby. I've had the SOS call from the club asking me to turn up for training on Monday, but I refused as the club won't consider a loan offer. My missus has me down to take her to the garden centre.
Hull could recall Jordan Babdul from his loan, as Pryce is finally not justifying his salary and Tuimavave is crocked. There's always dependable and versatile Danny W.
You couldn't make it up. Imagine the Black and Whites having to play a game this season with several key players out injured. Don't know how they'll cope.

I've watched that on several platforms now and can't come to any real conclusion.
I'd like a clarification of the laws of the game.
Is it a penalty if Allgood accidentally kicks the ball because I can't see how he could possibly do it on purpose?
(Waits for Mild Rover to look up laws for me because I can't be bothered).
Last night was the absolute definition of a game of two halves, we were awful in the first and Huddersfield were pretty good, vice versa in the second half.
Ta'ai and Rapira were tearing us up in the first half and then did nothing in the second and all of the Huddersfield team decided to ignore their International class three quarters for the majority of the game.
Lawler went really well for us and looks a potentially decent larker, really can't see what so offended Picky about Super Kev. |
