He does yes but, he appeared to make it quite plain yesterday that he would like the job long term or at least that's the way it sounded to me.
What I meant was....I don't believe the club will offer him a long term contract because I don't think they see him as a credible prospect in the longer term, in fact I'm not even sure they see him been credible in the short term but we will have to wait and see on that one, beginning with tonight.
I also don't believe, like one or two on here that Brian Noble has got a cat in hells chance of been considered for the job and rightly so in my opinion, I just don't think he is the answer.
I personally think the club will wait and see what happens during the next couple of games, before deciding whether to give the job to Poching or someone else on a short term basis while looking and then deciding on a longer term candidate for the coaching job.

Would be very surprised by Furner...
I think he get the boot from Canberra when the players (Campese was captain) mutinied against him. Unless it wasn't as bad as that and him and Campo have buried the hatchet.

A good call, but as he was appointed ast. coach to the Queensland State of Origin side last week I also doubt it

| Matt Dean:
#HullKR chairman Neil Hudgell has told me the club is in talks with "a stand-out candidate in a job" about becoming their long term coach.

#HullKR chairman Neil Hudgell has described Steve McNamara as a "stand-out candidate" but won't confirm he's the target.
