this is their one real chance to win the trophy. I don't think they would ever get a draw as kind as they have had to get to the Final again so they need to make the most of it.
I said on Saturday that if Wigan won, they would beat City, but I actually think City can beat Arsenal as the pressure on them to finally win a trophy would be huge

Even rarer than City reaching the final is me actually agreeing with Anakin. We should all be delighted for them, its bringing even more attention on our great city.

My only issue with City getting to the FA cup final, is the reactions of the fans. Remember in 2008 when they reached the PL? Remember the stick RL supporters in this city got from some of the football supporters?

Like it or not Association football IS the biggest sport in the world and the only truly global sport in that it is played everywhere at some level. The FA cup is the oldest and most traditional of that sport so it's hard to argue against the fact that Hull City getting to it's final is bigger than anything either Hull or Rovers have done on a global sport world stage.

I think you need to look at what I wrote properly before replying. There is no where I have stated anything to the contrary of what you wrote. My gripe is that they should act with a bit more class rather than mouth off because they have finally reached the top division after 100 years of trying.

Abuse along the lines of 'Hope you get battered' 'Relegated next year then back to being rubbish' etc. Plus us RL fans are not know for our virtue on that score either.

Not a football fan or from Hull but yes great for them & their suporters. I supose there will be a few less traveling to the magic game but for once let them have the glory our match will be on next year. As for their crowd figures they do draw a large number of fans from the East riding much more than the rugby clubs do. Not a problem for me though as I am in Egypt on holiday & I am sure city will be on TV there. & the magic game I will record. Good luck to them though.
