As a Hull fan I have to say I'm glad to see the back of him although he'll no doubt go out with a bang in the final derby this season. It was always going to be difficult for him to get a deal in Oz so good to see he's backed himself with a 12 month contract - I'm sure rovers will have some deal in place to take him back if it doesn't work out for him. Replacing like for like will be near impossible so presume you will look at a fringe player who should go OK alongside burns.

Forgot to say - I presume sandy has had a big hand in brokering this deal with his Newcastle connections? Good on him for doing what's right for the player and not himself if he has
