At the end of the day, he spends all week training his patched up team, to go out there and attempt to perform at the home of one of the best sides in the comp, for shoddy refereeing to cost us field position and through our own poor defence and their good attacking as a combo points. Which costs you any chance at the game. Hudds were without doubt the better side, they always looked likely to score more points, its just the timing and lack of consistancy. Allowing Brough and Robinson to ref the game is always fun. Same as Tomkins etc.'"
At the game i thought that he had got that wrong but someone pointed out he signalled a one on one strip hence not a knock on so no advantage.
Hence i think the decision was right if anything the problem is that Aliberts signals are not always the best but i think the decision was right. |

We were 8pts up and we were giving a correct penalty for crossing. Are you suggesting that because our players didnt stop what they were doing (defending) and indicate to the ref that an infringement had been made then there wasn't an infringement? A forward pass that never was and an advantage that never was since the ball was knocked out of robbos hands one on one. Alibert didn't have a perfect game- but there were no gamechangers to the tune of twenty points, or even 2. he missed a few high shots, a bit of holdingdown / offside, but not favouring any particular side. If sandercock is suggesting that the officials performance was so terrible can we have the ones you've had every week until now please. |
