| Minimum I would be happy with is winning at least 14 out of 27 matches with maybe only losing 2 or 3 at home tops! I'd love a day out in a semi-final but obviously that can depend on the draw. First point means we'll be comfortably in the 8 and a home game in the first round of the Play-offs would be nice!
In an ideal world we would do the double and go unbeaten at home all season.....  I really shouldn't  during the day! |

I can only repeat what most have already said.
Back in the 8.
An improved home record (9-10 home wins would be good)
A mean defence
A decent cup run (which requires a kind draw, so no chance there).
More kids becoming established 1st teamers.
North Stand opened on schedule (29.07.13)

i see all the pundits have us finishing 7-9th except nosey parker in the rugby leaguer who thinks we will finish 4th me id be happy with a good cup run for a change

One thing that doesn't massively concern me as much as it appears to most, is having a brilliant defence.
As long as we counteract it with a brilliant attack, I would rather win 51-50 than 1-0!
It's an entertainment business after all.

As everyone has already said, a top eight finish, an improved home record & the youngsters becoming established in our first team.
From my personal POV, I just want to start enjoying rugby again. There were times last season when that didn't happen, not because we lost but in the manner in which we lost. I found myself just shrugging my shoulders & thinking, "oh well".
I'm looking forward to seeing a bit of passion & enthusiasm from both the players & the fans.

I dont think 4th is beyond us , by any means.
I actually expect us to finish comfortably in the top 6 , and make a decent fist of the cup and play offs.

Pretty much sums it up for me and I'm excited about the season ahead just like every other season but this season even more so because our squad is like Pandora's Box and has great potential.
I also hope that Craig Sandercock earns a new deal because I think he really knows what he is doing and has a proper long term vision for the club to finally start building something sustainable. |
