One point I did think about regarding the above post and Murrell at 6, maybe we should get him to shift the weight and work on his sprinting, possibly look at him covering in the the halves only. We have Watts and Galea who have played L/F on numerous occasions depending on tactics and Roopy seems to think the lad Mika can operate in that postion(if he signs).

Murrell didn't have enough pace in NL1, i don't think it would make any difference if we injected him with cheetah DNA, it's never going to work.

The tone I got from roopy was that Mika [ithought[/i he could play in the halves but the reality was somewhat different.

I think Murrell should be nr the first team! he had a bad season last yr granted but is always capable of a big hit or a good kicking game! fair one, not that often last season, but the whole team underperformed last year! i agree though he should not be anywhere near the halves!!

i think we can finish 6th and reach the cc final with a bit of luck thats just out of hope really

Hopefully we will see a better allround performance from Scotty next season, back to putting in big hits & using him as a 3rd kicking option.

Considering we'll now have 2 ball-playing second rowers I think we should definitely use our 13 as another middle player and smash teams up down the middle - O'Hara, Clinton, Paea and Withers should be able to dominate a lot of SL teams IMO

Then we'd have a left side of Dobson / Galea / Welham / Hall

And a right side of Green / Mika / Webster / Hodgson
