Me and a few friends are going for the weekend and we are after abit of help if anyone is kind enough to tell me any tips/advise.

We have a hotel booked right in the centre which does not have parking. Where would be best to park from sat morning to monday afternoon??

Did look for hotels with parking but was a lot more money so decided to risk it and book the cheapest. Is there a park and ride or anything that we can use and leave the car there for the full weekend??

What have you done previously?

Any help would be much appriciated.

Not sure about park and ride were staying bout 4 miles outside of Cardiff but its on a bus route check on line that would be your best bet really.

hey mate, i live on cathedral road which is just outside the city centre across the cardiff bridge west past the castle. At the top of the road is a carpark next to the park which is very rarely busy. You should be good in there. 20 mn walk back to the city centre with 5 pubs on the journey. Cut through the park pop to the mochyn du next to the cricket stadium and you're golden. Hope you enjoy the weekend!

As much as I hate how it's fallen again, I love it at Cardiff - I want to go.

Rovers site is saying unreserved seating is nearly sold out - does that mean weve sold our allocation or do they mean all unreserved in general?

According to one paper this morning they havent sold 24000 tickets for the whole weekend!

Don't know, but as blakeysrobin says, reports of ticket sales have been poor with apparently only Leeds, Wire and Wigan (I think, might have included Saints) selling any decent numbers.

What we and I think a lot of people have done is buy unreserved so that you can go where you want for the other games and move to where all the Rovers fans are for our game.

It's no great surprise that ticket sales are down for a non-Bank holiday weekend.

i havent been to any 'magic'weekends, i like the concept of the weekend but just think the location is ridiculous, as good a venue as it is i just cant see the point in doing a 550 mile round trip for a 'local' derby, regardless of playing first or last or anywhere inbetween. i will not be attending till its in the heartlands and we all know that wont happen
