Just to mask the disappointment that the biff was more a whimper... if FC struggled with our forwards- who I think laid enough platform but was let down by mediocrity in the backs - wait till the Warrington pack break loose. Defeat for us and them I fear!!!!

I think many SL coaches will take notice of just how easy Luiaki is to wind up and he will find himself being gang tackled and roughed up a lot now as he lost the plot.

I coached for a long time and we won 95% of games because winning is a mental state driven by a desire to CRUSH an opposition. Did FC look as though they wanted to Crush Wigan and strangle them until they screamed ? NO

TBF, i reckon all super league coaches knew that before the start of the season, his "performance" in the derby just confirmed it. |

FWIW, he's exactly the type of player you want, 4 men constantly to bring him down, thus creating gaps.
If he manages to get the heads and elbows off his face quick enough to get a quick PTB we'll be laughing! |

If every ref is going to allow players to attack Lauaki's head then you are right he will react and get wound up. No problem with gang tackles and whilst Hame was wrong to react, the ref was wrong to ignore some of the cheap shots. It's easy to be hard when it's four on one. Maybe Newton did not like being treated like a skittle |
