Everyone knows the view from there is poor, they knew it before they bought tickets for the South stand and yet they still complain? |

The South Stand is probably the worst [istand[/i in SL, but the Stadia as a whole is far from being the worst. Once the required improvements are made for away fans I think Craven Park will be a great place to watch Rugby League for everybody that attends.

Its ok for these fans of long established SL clubs coming on here and criticising our ground, but when you consider that we have had two season in SL and in each we have made substantial investment in the ground and prior to that re-laid the pitch and improved the drainage and all on the money we raised ourselves without the help of the millions ploughed into the game by Sky, its really good going. Apart from the south terracing we have a reasonably good ground that meets standards required and is many time better than Wakey, Cas and Salford. Not every club has the benefit of public funding and even if we had pushed to use the KC (as would have been our right), the ground would not have stood up to two RL games and a City home game on a regular basis.
We are trying to get it right, but with the recession its more difficult to source funding partners and the current Hull City Council would not put a brass farthing into helping us out. We will get it up to standard, it will just take time.

As has already been said hopefully this view will be destined to history from next season and the facilities do need improving. As for Rufus, lighten up. He throws water bombs and sprays water at us all in East Stand every game, even when its cold and wet and the sun won't dry you out. |
