Didn't you see our pack in action on Sat? For ten whole minutes we battered Bradford.
You know Mike Smith doesn't hold back, if he said that - it must be true. However, didn't he say we have to/need to finish 4th.
My memories hazy, help me out.

I thought he said "we did, in 2009".

As Mild Rover is my witness, Mike Smith was asked where Rovers will finish this season and he said 4th. Was on the radio and everything. I like your pack. I've heard nothing else this season than Joel Clinton is like a new player. Having watched on Saturday I'm not sure which new player he is most like, though.

I thought you would've subscribed to Rovers tv?
Clinton's been one of our stand out players. He's been massive for sure. Leader of men
Mike Smith's 4th place - I remember listening too. Just my memory of the said quote was something like
Mike Smith speaking with such [iconfidence and swagger[/i ... Rambled on that we need to finish 4th and that 4th was the best way to achieve our goals. 4th turned into some sort of holy grail ... Gee then asked the question like, with Craig the new coach and all that coming in - where will you finish next season? Mike Smith had talked himself into a hole and rather jovially replied 4th obviously. An answer that wasn't to be taken too seriously and in context. Out of context, it looks daft.
Help me out - pls tell me you taped this?

So it should. The new regime/coach were your only previous problems.
Top 6 finish would be par anything less would not be acceptable.

| Hudgell wants to play at The Kc because Craven Park capacity is reduced due to building work.
Simple solution.
Craven Park usual capacity is around 10,500 ish.Kc Stadium capacity 25,404
For derby games, Fc get allocated around 1,000 tickets, for the South Stand at Craven Park.
Hkr home attendance, so far this season, around 7-8,000.
Therefore, for this game, temporarily reduce the capacity at the Kc to 10,500.
Allocated as 9,000 to Hkr, in the East and West Stand (majority of whom will be season pass holders)
1,500 to Fc fans, in North stand.
This way Hudgell and Hkr do not benefit from their ineptitude of not being able to get building work done in the close season by having a bigger gate than they would expect at a fully functioning Craven Park. After all, the ground improvements were part of them getting a grade B licence and also, how many other Superleague teams have the luxury of playing at a larger ground when it suits them?

As an FC fan, I think that is a complete and utter load of Edit-AS.
Just to name a few clubs that have played at a larger ground: Catalans, Bradford, Leeds and I think Wakefield have played at Oakwell before and Saints at Anfield. Wigan could play in Manchester if they really saw the need.
Why cut off your nose to spite your face? Would you rather watch the game at NCP? Or do you just not have any intention of going and want to make it as difficult for those that do?

I like you, you make me feel all superior and reinforces my view that all fc fans are stupid.

I think dayvoz is most improved troll - he's been employing a pretty decent sense of humour lately.
Stonesy is an absolute keeper - I'll be checking out his back catalogue later on.
Back on topic - there hasn't been the level of dismay from our side that I'd anticipated. The fact it is only one game and most people are pretty reasonable and flexible when needs be helps, I guess.
However, beyond the circumstantial evidence of the golf stand coming down has there been anything even remotely like confirmation?
